Good morning ladies and gentlemen. First of all, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is
Tasya Elvie Thalia. I’m as a MC for today during this competition.
In this good occasion, we will start our spelling bee competiton. But before that let's say
thanks to our God for this mercy that still protect and gather us in this virtual meeting. And i
would like to say thank to our beloved judges,

1. Miss Christine Helena Nathalia, Magister Humaniora, in Universitas Negeri Medan,

lecturer of Universitas Negeri Medan.

2. Miss Khairunnisa Br Batubara, Magister Humaniora in Universitas Negeri Medan,

lecturer of Universitas Negeri Medan.

And I thank to all of the committees of National English Competition (NEC) 10, that have
held this great Competition. Last but not least, I would like to say thank to all of the
participants Spelling Bee that will Spell their words today.

Before we start this meeting, with a very welcome, I invite our beloved judge
Miss Christine, magister humaniora .. to deliver a speech for us.

For all participants, you have to remember, you have maximum 5 minutes to spell your words
and you will be give 3 words for the first round or in the preliminary round.

Without fresh and greeting, let’s start our Spelling Bee. For all of the participants,

All participants have spell their words, so we arrived to the end of the event. We would
like to thank to the judges for your time, also to all the participants who have done the best of

We all the committee would like to thank you once again and say goodbye to our
resignation. The winner will be announced tomorrow on the 9th March 2022. Therefore, we
hope that all participants, even the judges, will attend tomorrow’s event, starting from the
