Obedience is a byproduct; the root is unbelief.

But unbelief is not yet the root the reason why you don’t
believe is because you don’t know Him. So the more you know God the more you can believe Him and
the more you believe Him the more you will obey Him. You cannot see the future, but you know who
holds the future. If God holds the future and He loves me. I don’t have to know what’s gonna happen. I’ll
hold His hand and trust Him. That’s why the ultimate problem is really not lack of faith. It is unbelief.
