NARRATIVE REPORT

SCHOOL WORKSHOP ON THE PREPARATION OF WEEKLY HOME LEARNING

PLAN AND OTHER LEARNING MATERIALS (DAY 5)

In accordance to DepEd annual implementation of In-Service training for

Teachers and for the preparation of resumption of classes on January 04, 2021,

Bagong Pag-asa Elementary School conducted a school workshop on the preparation

of weekly home learning plan and other learning materials with the support of current

school head, Mrs. Elsa S. Dela Paz and the leadership of the executive and technical

committee, BPES successfully implemented the said event.

The fifth and last day of the seminar was spearheaded by Ms. Jelie Anne

Penaranda of BPES- Annex and it started with a prayer led by Mr. Bendy E. Tecson.

To identify who’s in and who’s out, Ms. Nenette Verano led the checking of attendance

for each grade level both in Google Meet and Facebook Live. After everything was

set, Mrs. Elsa S. Dela Paz gave her opening remarks and emphasized the importance

of the on-going In-Service Training for teachers and gave some announcement like

the outputs that need to accomplish.

Subsequently, the grade four teachers presented their English Weekly Home

Learning Plan Output by Ms. Jahan Hallig. Ms. Hallig gave the overview of the said

activity, Suggested Strategies in Implementing Distance Learning Delivery Modalities

(DLDM) for School Year 2020-2021. This is to ensure learners are on-task and guided

on what they are expected to accomplish in a given week. After the presentation of

grade 4 English WHLP, Ms. Vinna Marie Carmelina presented the worksheets for the

said English WHLP.

Moreover, after the presentation of grade four, Mrs. Ara Petiluna gave another

example of Weekly Home Learning Plan by presenting a sample grade five AP Weekly

Home Learning Plan, followed by Mrs. Agnes Omnes presenting the worksheet of the

said WHLP.

In addition, to provide more details and examples on the required outputs for

the In-Service Training for teachers, Grade 6 MAPEH teachers presented a sample of

Weekly Home Learning Plan for MAPEH 6 led by Ms. Rhona Ubaldo and Mr. Raymund

Catayong.

Indeed, the whole five days duration of In-Service Training for Teachers on the

preparation of Weekly Home Learning Plan and other Learning Materials was a day

filled with learnings and information that will be a great help in facilitating learning for

the 21st century learner’s despite of the new-normal set-up of education due to covid-

19 pandemic.
