1.

Barangay History

Long, long time ago, people who lived in that place were Subanen. It was

discovered by Agustin Manisan and followed by the Colanggo’s family that the

place was full of Bunga Trees during Kaingan time. From that incidents the place

was called Cabunga-an until this time.

2. Barangay Profile

2.1 Location and Geographic Boundaries

Barangay Cabunga-an has a total land area 3.88 sq.km. and is

located on the southeastern part of the Municipality of Clarin. It is a

bounded on the North by barangay Segatic Daku; on the South by the city

of Ozamis; on the East by barangay Kinangay Norte, Kinangay Sur and

Gata Daku; and on the West by barangay Malibangcao.

of 109. Purok 1 has 20 household, Purok 2 has 27 household,

Purok 3 has 37 and Purok 4 has 25 households. Average

Household size 5 members. Total population is 462.

3.1 Vision

Ang Barangay Cabunga-an gidumalaan sa mga maka-diyos,

nagkahiusa, ug matinud-anon nga mga lideres kansang mga lumolupyo

matinabangon, makugihon, adunay himsog nga panglawas ug

mahigugmaon sa kalinaw, nga adunay paglambo sa agrikulturang

panginabuhian ug nagpuyo diha sa usa ka malahutayon na kinaiyahan.

3.2 Objectives

1. To decrease the incidence of families below poverty.

2. To provide services and facilities related to general hygiene and

sanitation and solid waste collection within three years period.

3. To provide a clear land use and environmental setting within three

years period.

4. To provide medical services and to promote health and safety within

three years period.

5. To provide and enhance agricultural support services which include

planting materials distribution system and operation of farm produce

collection within three years period.

6. To provide and enhance health and social welfare services which

include maintenance of barangay health center and day care center

within three years period.

7. To provide and enhance of barangay roads and bridges, water supply

and other infrastructure facilities such as multi-purpose hall, multi-

purpose pavement, school buildings and other similar facilities within

three years period.
