Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Sensor

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: During engine repair procedures, cleanliness is extremely important. Any foreign material (including any
material created while cleaning gasket surfaces) that enters the oil passages, coolant passages or the oil pan
can cause engine failure.

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.


Refer to: Jacking and Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

2. Remove LH front wheel and tire.


Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

3. Remove the retainers LH fender splash shield.

4. NOTE: Do not re-use the engine oil pressure (EOP) sensor if it has been removed.

Disconnect the electrical connector and harness retainer. Remove the bolt and the oil pressure control
solenoid.
Torque: 102 lb.in (11.5 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
