    Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoid

    Base Part Number: 6B297/6M280

    Removal

    NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

    1. Remove the valve cover.


    Refer to: Valve Cover (303-01 Engine - 2.3L EcoBoost (201kW/273PS), Removal and Installation).

    2. Remove the bolts and the VCT oil control solenoids.


    Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)

    Installation

    1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
