    3.The school where you came from.

    - Palayuhan High School

    4.Your reason for studying in this institution .

    - The reason why I chose NORSU to study and to pursue my dream course is that I came from a poor
    family and my parents can not support me financially or to send me into private university. NORSU is a
    free tuition school and the good thing about it is it also offers good quality of education. And that what
    makes NORSU stand out.

    5.Your feeling to be in this class.

    - I am very far from where I began and there is no going back. I made it so far to be in this class and to be
    accepted in this university. It is indeed a very proud moment where the moment I knew I am officially in
    this class. I feel very proud of myself and at the same time I feel a little bit of excitement. And to be in
    this class is both an honor and a responsibility.
    6. What is understanding the self ?

    - It is the ability to attain knowledge or to study about ourselves.Learning about and gaining
    understanding of one's traits, including attitudes, motivations, behavioral inclinations, strengths and
    weaknesses, one's likes and dislikes,etc.

    7.Is it important in the curriculum? Why?

    - The subject Understanding the self is necessary in tertiary education for GENERAL CURRICULUM.It aims
    to assist or evaluate students' understanding of the nature of identity, including the elements that affect
    and shape individual .Students today struggle greatly with self- and identity-related issues, thus it should
    be emphasized in the curriculum.

    8.How will it help me as a student or as a person?

    - Being aware of oneself, one's qualities, one's strengths and weaknesses, and other things is important
    in achieving one's goals. It will help me by giving me insight into who really I am as a student. Students
    must have a strong sense of self in order to thrive academically and develop into the best versions of
    ourselves in the near future. Students that are self-aware flourish in everything they do because they
    have a deep-seated belief in their capacity to accomplish a task.
