MY SIGNIFICANT LEARNINGS
The journey of improving myself has taught me some important things. I've learned how crucial it is
to love and accept myself. These are the building blocks for becoming a better person and being the best
version of myself. I figured out ways to make myself better in different parts of my life. During this process,
I realized something important: being real is really important. It's about fully embracing who I am—my
dreams, beliefs, and what I can do. This realization showed me the way to live freely and genuinely. I
learned that the best way to grow is by being true to my dreams, believing in myself, and expressing who I
truly am. This journey showed me that personal growth is not just about gaining skills or hitting specific
goals. It's more about discovering and accepting who I am. It's given me the power to live according to what
I truly want and believe in, letting me show the real me to the world without holding back.
1ST QUARTER
MODULE 1: Self – Development
A. Who am I?
Being friendly and soft-hearted is who I am. It means I'm warm, kind, and approachable to
others, making it easy for people to get along with me. I genuinely care about others and tend to show
compassion in my interactions. I enjoy engaging in conversations, helping others whenever I can, and
finding it relatively easy to make new friends. Moreover, being soft-hearted reflects my sensitivity and
empathy towards others' feelings and needs. I'm often deeply affected by the emotions of those around
me and feel a strong desire to support or comfort them, especially during difficult times. Overall, being
friendly and soft-hearted allows me to create a welcoming and comforting atmosphere for the people
around me.
Definitely! For me, cuddly stuffed animals speak volumes about being friendly and kind-hearted.
They give off a cozy, warm vibe, just like a caring friend would. Everyone, young or old, gets the sense
of love and care these toys carry. They bring back happy memories and come in various shapes and
characters, so I can pick one that reflects my personality. When I choose a cuddly stuffed animal to
represent myself, I'm saying I'm gentle, caring, and someone others can easily connect with as a friend.

Consistent effort towards your goals is essential.

Reflection:
My recipe for success is like a special mix with clear goals, hard work, bouncing back from tough
times, always learning new things, being able to adjust, and staying positive. This mix guides me towards
my goals, helps me turn problems into chances to learn, and lets me handle different situations. Staying
hopeful keeps me motivated when things get tough. This recipe not only helps me move forward but also
helps me grow as a person. Each part of this mix adds its own special touch to my journey. Success isn’t just
reaching a goal; it's about how I act and think along the way, changing and growing as I go after my dreams.
Personal Timeline
Growing up has been a big journey for me. When I was younger, from 11 to 14, I tried new things,
made adjustments with friends, and started to figure out what I'm good at. Now, at 16, I'm in the middle
phase. I'm thinking more about what's important to me, dealing with school pressure, and trying to
understand what I want to do in the future. This time is all about figuring out who I am and where I fit in the
world. It's a time of big changes, understanding what I believe in, and learning how to handle relationships.
This middle phase is crucial for me to build my future while managing school and personal connections.
Reflection
Thinking about my teenage years, each part was different and helped me grow. When I was younger,
it was about exploring, trying new stuff, and becoming more independent. Then, as I got older, I started
thinking more about who I am, what I want to do, handling school, and dealing with relationships. Both
times taught me a lot about the world and myself. When I was younger, it was about adapting, and later on,
it was about thinking deeply about where I fit in. Both of these parts really changed me and gave me ideas
for what comes next in life.
During adolescence, I go through a stage known as “Identity vs. Role Confusion.” This is when I’m
figuring out who I am while dealing with what others expect from me. I explore different ideas, beliefs, and
ways to fit into the world. Sometimes I try different roles to see which ones feel right. If I can figure this out,
I’ll feel more sure about myself as I become an adult. But if I struggle with this, it can be tough to make
important choices in life. I find it helpful when I’m in places that support me, where I can explore and get
guidance. These places really help me build a clear and strong sense of who I am.
During middle and late adolescence, I face some challenges. I’m trying to understand myself, dealing
with school stress, handling how others perceive me, and managing a rollercoaster of emotions. Also, I’m
worried about what’s ahead in life. To handle these, I rely on support from teachers, friends, and family.
They create a safe space for me to learn, offer advice, and help me feel like I belong. With their support, I
can succeed both in school and in my personal life.
Slogan:
Reflection:
To me, “Own your Joy; Be happy by choice!” means I hold the reins to my happiness. It’s not just
about what happens around me; it’s about the decisions I make. It’s a reminder that I have control over how
I feel and that I can opt for positivity, strength, and gratitude. This slogan prompts me to understand that my
happiness is in my hands, encouraging me to make mindful choices and maintain a positive perspective on
life.
Lesson 5. Coping with Stress and Mental Health in Middle and Late Adolescence
Dealing with stress during middle and late adolescence is tough, but I’ve found ways to handle it.
First, I try to understand what’s stressing me out—whether it’s school pressure or issues in relationships.
Taking care of myself by eating well, exercising, and getting enough sleep really helps me handle stress
better. When I’m feeling overwhelmed, I turn to calming activities like mindfulness or meditation to relax
my mind. Learning to manage my time and set achievable goals has been beneficial, and talking to people I
trust is a big support. Doing things I love, like hobbies or playing sports, also helps me feel less stressed. If
there’s something causing too much stress, I try to stay away from it. Coping with stress is a process, so I
remind myself to be patient and kind while I figure out what works best for me.
Improving my mental health during middle adolescence means taking care of myself in a few ways.
First, I make sure I get enough sleep, eat well, and stay active. When I feel stressed, I do activities like
meditation or relaxation exercises to calm down. Talking to someone I trust, like a friend or family member,
when I'm feeling down is really helpful. I try to stay away from things that stress me out and focus on doing
things that bring me joy. Having supportive people around me is important, and I remind myself to be
grateful for the good things in life. I know everyone's mental health journey is different, so I'm trying to find
what works best for me. Seeking help from experts is a brave step in taking care of myself.
J. How Will You Improve Learning Using Both Left and Right Brain?
To make my learning better by using both sides of the brain, it's helpful to use different methods. I
will use pictures along with words, mix tasks that follow rules with ones that lets me be creative, and listen
to music to remember things better. Relax by doing art or mindfulness activities, and show how different
subjects are related. Also, I will take short breaks and move around during learning to help my brain work
better.
Handling my feelings is hard, but it’s really important. I begin by noticing and saying what I feel,
knowing it’s okay to have these feelings. Understanding what makes me feel this way helps me deal with
them. When I feel too much, I take a break. I talk about my feelings with people I trust or do things like
drawing to express them. Doing exercises that relax my mind or just taking it easy helps too. Eating well and
exercising makes me feel better emotionally. If my feelings affect my life a lot, I might talk to someone who
knows how to help. It’s totally fine to ask for help, and I remind myself to be patient while I figure out what
works best for me.
Family relationships play a fundamental role in shaping our lives and identities. They act as a
foundation for understanding ourselves and our values. From our earliest days, our family teaches us about
the world, how to interact with others, and what’s important in life. This guidance helps us form our beliefs
and character.
Moreover, families provide us with a sense of security and belonging. Feeling loved and accepted by
our family members creates a supportive environment where we feel safe to be ourselves. This sense of
belonging is crucial for our emotional well-being as it gives us a place where we feel valued and understood.
Additionally, strong family bonds also serve as a source of strength during challenging times. When
we face difficulties, whether they are emotional, financial, or personal, having a supportive family network
can greatly assist in coping with these challenges. Family members often offer encouragement, advice, and a
listening ear, which can help us navigate through tough situations.
Making our family relationships strong involves doing some important things. We spend good time
together, talk about things that matter, and do fun stuff to make our bond stronger. Saying thank you or
doing nice things shows we care and helps us feel good about each other. When we forgive and understand
each other, especially when things are tough, it makes us closer and supports us emotionally. Respecting our
differences and allowing everyone to be themselves helps us understand each other better. Creating family
traditions or doing things together makes us feel close and gives us great memories. Even if we're busy,
making time just for family keeps us connected. Doing these things every day helps our family stay happy
and get along better.
Lesson 10. Persons and Careers
When we think about what job we want in the future, lots of things can have an effect. First, what
we’re good at is a big deal. Also, what we really like and how we are as a person matters for different jobs.
Things we do in our life, like being a big brother or sister or taking care of someone, can change what job
we might pick. Stuff we’ve done before, like helping out or working somewhere, can show us what jobs we
might like. Our culture, what our family thinks, and even if we’re a boy or a girl can also change what jobs
people think we should do. Money and if there are jobs available are also important. Sometimes, things we
wanted to be when we were little can help us decide what job we want now. When we think about all these
things, it helps us choose a job that’s really good for us, matches what we’re good at, and makes us happy
and successful.
MY OVERALL REFLECTION
My path to self-discovery has been gradual, yet I’m steadily gaining a better understanding of my
true self. Realizing the value in being genuine has been a significant revelation for me. Embracing this
authenticity has brought me a sense of joy and peace as I witness my personal growth. Fostering self-love
and striving to be the best version of myself has been essential in this journey. It’s given me the confidence
to tackle any challenges that may come my way. I’m eagerly looking ahead to a brighter future, excited
about the experiences and lessons that lie ahead. I’m profoundly grateful for the invaluable lessons this
subject has offered me. The wisdom and insights gained have been instrumental in my personal
development. I genuinely hope that this subject can continue guiding and supporting other students as it has
guided and supported me on the path to self-discovery and growth.
