AUTOBIOGRAPHY

I am Nelson Cabalida Jimenez, born on December 24, 1996 in Libungan, North

Cotabato. I am 23 years of age and I am the youngest son among eight (8) siblings of Mr. and

Mrs. George D. Jimenez. My father is farmer and my mother is housewife. Their income

could not sustain to send me in college so therefore, I find ways in order for me to continue

my ambition to become a professional teacher. I applied scholarship and for the God’s grace

I was one of the granted of CHED at the same time I applied Student-Assistant at Notre

Dame-Siena School of Marbel.

I finished my elementary education at Malengen Elementary School recently known

as Padura Elementary School, Malengen, Libungan, North Cotabato in the year 2010. And I

finished my secondary at Malamote National High School, Malamote, Midsayap, North

Cotabato in the year 2014. After I graduated in high school I was not able to go directly in

college instead I find some work it was because I thought that I have no chance to go in

college. After my cousin recommended me that there was school that need for student-

assistant I was not wasting my time and I go directly to the school where I recommended and

I was prepared for the interview. After those moment I say to myself “this is the chance for

you to go in college”. I was under observation for about seven (7) months before I enrolled in

college. In November 2015 I started my studies in Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges-

Marbel Incorporated taking up Bachelor in Elementary Education-Generalist. As a beginner I

have difficulties to adjust my work and my studies but I need to balance the two in order to

survive and to have a degree. After the following semester I handled all of these.

I am so very proud to myself because of my dedication in life it’s a little bit to reach

my degree. I do believe poverty has no place to the person who has ambition in life. Now I

am a fourth year student and a pre-service teacher in Marbel 1 Central Elementary School. I

am hoping to finish my degree this coming March 23, 2020.
