MR. RODRIGO M. ZAMORA

PRINCIPAL II
Don Mariano Marcos Elementary School
8002 Plaridel Street, Zone III, Digos City

Mr. Zamora:

I am writing this letter to apply in the Indeed posting for the fifth-grade teaching position at
your school. I think my educational background, critical thinking abilities, and communication
abilities make me a strong contender for the position.

My student teaching gave me experience working with kids. I worked with a licensed teacher as
a student teacher, observing and supervising a sixth-grade class. I contributed to the creation
of lesson plans and used several formats to include students in the study of the material.
During my time as a student-teacher, I assisted in raising pupil involvement and observed a
20% rise in test results. My patience, organization, and creativity have all significantly increased
as a result of this experience, which also taught me the greatest teaching techniques.

Combined with my teaching degree, I aim to use my skills to foster a child's educational
development and ensure they're reaching their academic potential. I'm confident that my skills
and passion for teaching have prepared me for this role. I am eager to learn more about this
opportunity as it continues to improve the quality of education in your School. Please contact
me at 09464910098/recapaglinawan08@gmail.com, to your convenience to set up a time to
discuss the position in greater detail and how my qualifications align with your educational
program. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerly yours,

LIFE GOALS
Becoming a Better Teacher
Top teachers understand that embracing “lifelong learning” applies to educators as
well as the students. This means fueling your desire to improve throughout your
teaching career, through your reading and research (such as these tips on teacher
preparation and planning), as well as through teacher workshops and other
opportunities.

Improving Classroom Management

Are your students consistently well-behaved, orderly and attentive? The
answer to this question varies greatly among classroom teachers, and the
methods for improving classroom management are of great interest to
teachers of all grade levels and subject matter.

Earning National Board Certification

Earning certification as a National Board Certified Teacher
through the National Board for Professional Teaching
Standards (NBPTS) is a rigorous and expensive process. But
according to the organization, “The evidence is clear.
Board-certified teachers positively impact student
learning.”

Adjusting My Mindset
Do you dread certain aspects of your job, or are you excited and
motivated to head off to school each day? Your mindset has “a
powerful impact on how you experience your work and whether or
not you continue to grow and thrive,” Jennifer Gonzalez writes in
“Goal-Setting for Teachers: 8 Paths to Self-Improvement.”
