Question #1
"As a school teacher, I master the subject
matter that I have to teach."

100% YES
"Teachers are required to know what they are teaching because
understanding of subject matter by a teacher implies that the
teachers is able to grasp the main points and teach them to the
learners, and to correct any misconceptions of knowledge, and
all this revolves around the teachers understanding of the
subject matter.” - Kamamia et al. (2014)
Question #2
"As a school teacher, I implement what I
have planned for my teaching."

100% YES
Dr. Amber TankersleyI: "I never throw away my lesson plan, even if
it was a terrible lesson. I've had many terrible lessons, but I never
throw them away because part of my reflection piece to a lesson
plan may say don't ever do this lesson again unless you think of this,
or only do this if you have these children or these characteristics of
children in your classroom. Some things just don't work with a
particular group. That helped me reflect on my own practices and
what I needed to do in the future."
Question #3
As a school teacher, I monitor and assess if
my students are learning.

100% YES
Assessments provide teachers with valuable information on
the progress and achievements of their students. Not only
this, but monitoring student progress also gives teachers
the opportunity to reflect on their own teaching and assess
the impact of the instructional strategies they use.
Question #4
"As a school teacher, I modify my activity to
suit my learners in my classroom."

100% YES
If a student cannot achieve success at the targeted
level, using modifications to make the material more
manageable for the student is an important part of
teaching. Modifications allow students to learn at their
present level rather than failing to comprehend
information above their understanding.
Question #5
"As a school teacher, I lead in the implementation of a new
curriculum in my school."

87.7% YES
The role of teachers in the curriculum process is to help
students develop an engaged relationship with the content.
Teachers lead in the implementation of new curriculum by
conducting lessons that include simulations, experiments, case
studies and activities to deliver curriculum. This interactive
approach intertwines curriculum and practical experiences that
immerse students in learning.
Question #6
"As a school teacher, I write instructional materials based
on the recommended school curriculum."

100% YES
It is important to create instructional materials
based on on the recommended school curriculum
because curriculum serves as a reference to ensure
that you’re on the right track. Its components are
designed to develop concepts, from a basic level to
increasingly complex topics or skills.
Question #7
"As a school teacher, I look for other ways of doing to
improve teaching and learning in my classroom."

100% YES
No two students are the same, and there is a spectrum
of different learning styles. An educator's teaching
style, therefore, can greatly impact a student's ability to
learn and comprehend. This is why knowledge of
different learning styles is essential for teachers.
Question #8
"As a school teacher, I participate in community activities
as a good citizen."

100% YES
Teachers who become involved in the community
also come to understand it better, which helps
them address the needs of their students more
effectively
Question #9
"As a school teacher, I disregard the needs of my learners
and focus only in my lesson."

78.9% NO
Understanding your students' interests will help
you to provide them with quality learning
opportunities. By giving them the opportunity to
explore areas they are interested in, they will be
more likely to engage with the learning process.
Question #10
As a school teacher, I teach my plan for the students to
learn.

100% YES
A lesson plan is the instructor’s roadmap of what students need to
learn and how it will be done effectively during the class time. It
serves as a guide for teacher every day to determine what the
students will learn, how the lesson will be taught as well as how
learning will be evaluated. Notably, letting your students know what
they will be learning and doing in class will help keep them more
engaged and on track.

implementation and usefulness of OBE in

been implementing it and find OBE to be
very useful in their classroom setting.
