Objectives To be able to handle 42 students in a school year.
Narrative (Highlights)
For 10 months, I was able to handle 42 Grade 10 students. I was able to
cater their needs and queries for them to continue their learning. Luckily,
only 1 student didn’t complete the entire school year. Must be because of
the learning modality. He couldn’t answer his modules.

September 2021 was the first month of the first quarter and I was able to
identify my students and enroll them in the LIS or Learner’s Information
System. I was able to create a group chat for updates and retrieve contact
numbers for their parent’s updates of their son/daughter’s progress. This
month was also the start of the distribution of modules and retrievals. Some
can’t submit on time, but they were able to cope up with the lessons.

The entire school year-round like a roller coaster. Especially that there are
some delays because of the natural phenomenon yet the distribution of
modules was still distributed despite of the difficult situation encountered not
only by the students but also by the teachers and the school.

Students are communicated through letters and eventually visited on their

respective residences. It was tough and exciting, yet we were able to do our
tasks as a teacher. We were able to lift the spirits of the students who were
down and uninterested to continue learning.

As an adviser also, I was able to submit online and offline reports on time. I
was able to give my very best for my students. Their appreciation means a
lot to me especially in the time of hardships. They were able to appreciate
the hurdles and turn it into an opportunity to do better than before.

At some point, it might be too impossible, but we were able to push through
the limited face-to-face classes despite of the limited time frame which was
synchronous with the PISA Examination. Thank God! We were able to
surpass all those hurdles.

Lastly, to celebrate the very sweet success of my students, the school made
the face-to-face Graduation and Moving- Up Ceremonies possible and all
the hurdles and sacrifices were all worth it. I, as an adviser deserves a tap
on my back for a job well done.
