EXPLAIN COMPREHENSIVELY WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED IN HISTORY 101.

I've learned a lot about the past of the country in the class HISTORY 101. When I
learned how important primary sources were, which were used a lot in this class, I was
able to understand and analyze the documents and readings we were given. This
helped me learn about the different parts of Philippine history through the people who
were there at the time. In the same way, different points of view were looked at through
primary sources, which helped me learn more about the past.
When I learned how to use primary sources, I realized how important it was to study
Philippine history. With the help of the primary sources, I now know and understand the
story behind the things that happened in the past. It showed me that there are different
sides to every story, depending on who was there and who is still alive to tell it. I learned
about the Philippines before Spain came and that there were already civilizations there
before they got there. After that, Spain took over the country as a colony. This was an
eye-opening lesson because it helped me understand what was going on during the
colonization.
Revolutions happen when people move to new places. Filipinos are tired of being told
what to do by those in charge, so they tried to fight back in their own ways. I now know
and understand more about the people behind those movements, why they did what
they did, how hard it was for them, and how their actions came to an end. These people
helped build up Filipino nationalism, which made more Filipinos want to fight back
against the atrocities. This topic also showed how the U.S. has tried to use the
Philippines for its own purposes. Even though they seemed willing to help the
Philippines, it was kind of a cover for something else.
Even though the Philippines slowly became an independent country, Filipinos still had to
deal with a lot of problems before and after they were finally free from foreign control.
One of these problems was the Japanese colonization. There were a lot of things to
think about, and there were a lot of extra connections to cut and changes to make. After
problems with other countries, the people's own problems and fights came next. It
seemed like the suffering would never end, and it took decades to end because most
people and those in power had different ideas about what kind of change they wanted to
see in the country. After years of fighting both inside and outside the country, peace has
finally come to the Philippines, and its people can finally enjoy their long-awaited
freedom.
