Dave Matthews Band Caravan A 3-Day Festival Event featuring 39 acts.

Dates: Friday, July 8th, Saturday, July 9th & Sunday, July 10th. Location: Chicago's South Side The festival will be held on the old
U.S. Steel South Works location. Front entrance located at 83rd Street and the lakefront, south of Rainbow Beach for several miles. (Alderman Sandy Jacksons ward). GCA will pay you 15 days after the event ends on Sunday, July 10th. It takes 12 days to receive the check from the booking company to the community group. JOB REQUIREMENTS

You must be 21 years of age to sell beer. Must have CURENT PHOTO ID!

You must be able to stand on your legs for either a four (4) hour shift or Full Day shift of 8 hours. Good fitting, comfortable shoes are needed. You must be willing to work on one (1), two (2) or all three (3) days of the three (3) day festival event. Select all days of work on the attached GCA job application that you will commit to. Be honest! You must be friendly, helpful and easy to work with as this is first, a customer service job. Please remember you are representing GCA. Thirty-somethings and older, affluent yuppies will primarily attend this festivalthough there are some black acts see attached event overview. You must be able to act responsibly and stay focused on what you are there for: 1. to serve beer; 2. get paid and 3. make money for the organization as well.

You must be prompt on getting to work at the festival. Since the event is on the Southside, no excuses will be accepted for late attendance. Being late could result in your position being given to someone else. If you are selected you will get a schedule.

It goes without saying: no sampling is allowed. No take home freebies are allowed either (beer will be either draft or in cans).
