Sub: Request for Financial Assistance for the donation of Winter Clothes for Downer.

Dear Sir,

Greetings from Bangladesh Catholic Students’ Movement (BCSM).

We would like to state that BCSM, a lay Apostolate Movement of tertiary level students of Bangladesh,
which carries out its activities through different activities to promote Christian life style and motivates
youngsters to uphold their moral values such as Inter-faith Dialogue, Human Rights, Higher Educations
and Gender Issue. BCSM is a full member of International Movement of Catholic Students (IMCS),
which is recognized as an International organization by the Holy See and approved by Catholic Bishops’
Conference of Bangladesh (CBCB). It has consultative status ‘B’ at UNESCO and status II at ECOSOC
of the United Nation.

We are happy to inform you that BCSM is going to arrange Donation of Winter Clothes for Downer. The
event based on the cold season is, unsurprisingly, particularly brutal on the Downer or homeless
population.

To facilitate this event, we need a certain amount of money but it is tough for us to arrange all the
contribution on our own because all of we are students. So we need your kind financial assistance to
make this event a successful one.

Therefore, we hope and believe that you would be kind enough to help us financially so that we can
organize the program successfully. For your kind information, we have attached our tentative budget
with this application. Your kind cooperation will help us to implement the objectives and ideas of BCSM
for the upcoming events.
