in the abstract.

This study aims to determine the feasibility and the convenience of an RFID contactless
payment once it is implemented inside the canteen of a corporate company. RFID
contactless payment has been around since the boom of the 21st century, in the form
of contactless payment cards, electronic employee IDs, and many more. Once the
RFID contactless payment system is implemented in the canteen, it has the potential to
change how the employees transact and get food orders from their favorite stalls and
reduce crowd congestion inside the cafeteria. If an RFID runs out of balance, the employee
can visit the HR department and reload their ID.

The researchers started by programming the Arduino receiver through Microsoft C++ to
match the RFID frequency of the employee IDs, thus redirecting the payment command to
the Arduino receiver. The next step was implementing the receiver through a food stall
inside the canteen. The last step for the researchers was a focus-group discussion with
some of the employees to see the progress and results of the use of RFIDs.

The implementation of the RFID contactless payment is shown to have reduced the queue
in the canteen, especially during lunch time. In conclusion, further research and data
analysis shall be conducted on the said study, determining the security, efficiency, and the
