MEAL Assistant June, 2019 – Dec 2019


Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Jalalabad, Nangarhar, Afghanistan

Responsibilities:
 Implementation of MEAL systems for all programmes in respective area
 Collect the relevant data as indicated by Project MEAL plans and assessment Scopes of Work to
measure progress against indicators, expand contextual knowledge of the organization, build
positive relationships and trust with people of concern and promote programmatic learning
 Implement and update MEAL Plan in a timely manner for all projects in area, including collection,
entry, basic analysis and usage of data.
 Work in very close collaboration with Programme teams, following their work plan and adapting
MEAL work plan accordingly
 Plan according to priorities set by the MEAL Specialists and HoMEAL, including dissemination of
work plans and respondent lists in advance
 Conduct all, ad hoc or regular assessment, monitoring, post-monitoring and evaluation data
collection as per plan / Scope of Work of all project activities present in respective area
 Prepare and share weekly activity reports with Area Manager, Area MEAL Officer, MEAL Specialists

Master Trainer Feb, 2019 – May 2019


National Democratic Institute (NDI), Jalalabad, Nangarhar, Afghanistan

Duties & Responsibilities:


 Participate in election observation Training of Trainers workshop for four days (exclusive of travel
days) in Kabul;
 Liaise with provincial representatives of the different political campaigns and government entities
like the provincial Independent Electoral Commission, the Provincial Electoral Complaints
Commission, security organs, etc., to inform them of the training and related information;
 Identify or assist in identifying and inspecting training venues, and secure contracts for use of
venues, if necessary;
 Train for candidate agents from early March to mid-May 2019, and possibly travel to neighboring
provinces to provide such training;
 Prepare training reports, including participants’ sign-in sheets and photos of training sessions after
every training session, etc.;
 Report to and coordinate with NDI Regional Managers (or the NDI Kabul-based Election Team for
trainers in the Kabul and Central Highlands region), on a daily basis on the progress of the training,
training needs, logistics and administrative issues, travel guidance, and related information;
 Complete financial and administration reports related to training;
Perform other tasks related to any of the above duties at the direction of the NDI Regional Manager

USAID/DAI/Promote-Women in Economy Jalalabad, Nangarhar, Afghanistan.
Responsibilities:
 In close coordination and guidance from the Regional Internship and Apprenticeship Coordinator
(RIAC) carry out provincial level internship and apprenticeship program activities.
 Followed internship and apprenticeship program activity procedures including collecting
applications/information from female applicants entering data into WIE databases collecting and
processing intern and apprentice timesheets and collecting feedback and information from
employers.
 Conducted outreach to identification and selection of industrial park companies that need
apprenticeship or technical skills to host interns and apprentices in the province. Collect
information on internship apprenticeship and job openings from employers in the West Region and
upload into WIE’s job matching database.
 Ensure interns and apprentices are appropriately matched to positions requested by employers.
 Ensure proper filing systems and updated documentation is maintained both in hard and soft copy
and ensure all the documents and processes is followed as per WIE standard operating procedures.
 Coordinated closely with Regional Workforce Development Case Officers to assist women who are
completing internships and apprenticeships to secure job placements with employers
 Preparing the timesheets for Interns and Apprenticeship. Distributing the timesheets among
companies and recollecting the timesheets.
 Scanning and printing of documents. Online registration of Internship & Apprenticeship in KMP.
Filing the documents and Preparing the M-Paisa lists.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHER

Afghan Youth Connect Center

 Organizing and delivering classroom lessons to students.


 Preparing classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts.
 Evaluating student's class work and assignments.
 Performing classroom management.
 Teacher should work towards achievement of the program objectives and in particular ensuring
that students maintain a good attendance rate and learning achievements.
 The Teacher should keep track of data related to student: attendance, pre and posttest scores and
material covered during the course as per the tracking files distributed by AYCC.
 After completion of each book, trainer must assign students assignments. The assignments should
contain all the aspects of English Language. The assignments should be checked and the results
should be announced to students.
 Trainer needs to report on monthly bases the follow up data of both classes that include
attendance, quizzes, test, and pre/posttest. The trainers must report to AYCC by the end of each
month considering all aspect of the program including success stories of the classes during the
entire month.
