1- Program Officer
With Islamic Relief Worldwide at DEC (Disaster Emergency Project)
Project.

Assignments.
1-Oversee technical assistance needed to execute project work plans activities and help fulfil any
gaps identified.
2- Ensure timely accurate and appropriate reporting of program activities and results to the IR
Afghanistan donor and other stakeholders.
3- Contribute to proposal management design writing and editing and project reporting.
4- Prepare and submit activity plans and reports to the project and Humanitarian coordinator on
agreed schedules.
5- Coordination with relevant stakeholders, including governmental authorities, OCT meetings,

2. Ensure the implementation of the support to confidence building projects in
the field of civil society and provide necessary support to implementing
NGOs.
3. Support project development and formulation. Design, plan and monitor
subprojects. Work on the quality of the concept papers, proposal outlines
and agreements in close cooperation with the grant recipients.
4. Establish monitoring and evaluation systems. Establish a system of progress
review with each of the implementing partners.
5. Ensure timely submission of financial and activity reports by NGO recipients
and ensure harmonized reporting by recipients on key performance
indicators.
6. Advise grant recipients on strategies to facilitate results-based
implementation of project activities, and ensure constant feedback on quality
of their implementation, suggesting corrective measures as necessary.
7. Support the selection, capacity assessment, contracting, monitoring,
evaluation and audit of grant recipients, ensuring compliance with USAID,
ADALAT project regulations.
