COURSE DESCRIPTION
A study of human development throughout the life span with emphasis on areas of physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and moral development. Major development theories
will be tackled. Highlight is given on the interactive dimensions of human development particularly the importance of holistic view of positive parenting in the Filipino setting
COURSE INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES
After completing this course, students will be able to:
1. Keep up with the current trends and issues in psychology.
2. Discuss the theories, principles, concepts of the selected relevant topics in Psychology.
3. Evaluate new information related to Psychology that may be presented in various forms and sources.
4. Be able to expand their knowledge of the discipline and evaluate critically the appropriateness of different approaches to problem-solving in the field and apply this knowledge to make
judgments and create approaches to solving problems within the family, society, or employment context.

Minimum passing level (MPL) = 60%
CLASSROOM POLICIES

- Students maintaining grades for scholarship should obtain a grade of 85 up.
- Completion of INC grade should be within the next semester for major subjects.
- No special quizzes and exams for announced dates unless with proof of valid excuse.
