The purpose of this Sick Leave Policy is to create a definitive guideline of what is accepted as a sick leave and its
compensation. This policy is legally created for [Fukurodani Enterprises] and is made effective on September 29,
2025.

Scope

This policy applies to all regular employees of [Fukurodani Enterprises] who have accrued sick leave credits.
This policy does not, in any way, affect the probationary, contractual, and seasonal employees of the company.

Policy Statement

SICKNESS AND ILLNESS COMPENSATION.


The compensation applies to the regular employee and to their dependents that require medical help. Medical,
optical, and dental procedures and examinations are applicable. An employee shall be qualified to join this
program if they meet one of the following conditions:
Employees who were employed between January 1, 2020 - December 31, 2024, will be allowed to take
eighteen (18) sick leaves per year.
Employees who were employed from January 1, 2025, onwards will be allowed to take fifteen (15) sick
leaves per year.

SICK LEAVE COMPENSATION.


Sick leave compensation will be granted on a basis of a regular eight-hour, weekday only shifts, and the
employee’s base salary. Benefits and insurance shall take effect on either the third (3rd) day of the employee’s
disability or the second (2nd) day of the employee’s illness. Accidents and illnesses will be settled by paying the
insurance benefit. Any remaining allowance shall be kept for future use by the employee when necessary or
applicable.

CONFIRMATION OF SICKNESS.
Employees may be required to present medical certificates issued and assigned by licensed physicians to
receive and enjoy compensation under this policy.
JOB PERFORMANCE.
The sick leave compensation shall only be offered to the company’s regular employees with valid reasons for
being absent from work. Should it be discovered that an employee is abusing the benefits offered by this policy,
the abuse shall reflect on the employee’s performance evaluations as grounds for suspension or termination
from the company.
TERMINATION.
An employee who was terminated; whether on the basis that they reached the end of their contract, terminated
by the company, or by voluntary resignation; will not be an eligible candidate for the sick leave compensation.
SICK LEAVE ACCUMULATION.

All issues and concerns regarding sick leave shall be forwarded to Yoko M. Avella, who can be found at the
Employee Management office at the Human Resources department.

A single sick leave shall be equivalent to an eight-hour shift for employees who work for forty-eight (48) hours a
week.

The accumulation of sick leaves shall be based on the date of their employment, as what was stated as
conditions of the sick leave compensation provision.
