Dear Mary,
How are you? I hope that you’re in the pink of health. I’m happy to receive your
letter for your 20th birthday party.
I’m writing this letter to tell you about my 20th birthday party. That party was
celebrated in the evening at my house. It was a BBQ party with the attendance
of my family members and friends. The weather was so nice that we prolonged
the party until late at night.
In the party, I was in the same emotion as you, so happy and touching. I
received many gifts, such as: a bunch of flowers, some souvenirs, a teddy
bear and several wonderful books. In addition, I stood a chance to meet my
old friends, whose friends I had not seen for a long time because of busyness.
By the way, I hope we can meet each other in the shortest time.
Anyway, that’s all for now. Don’t forget my invitation to come to Vietnam, Fall
would be a great time as it’s cool and has many beauty spots.

Dear Mary,
It’s ages since I’ve heard from you. I hope you and your family are well. I’m sorry to
hear about your experience.
You’ll never believe that I have just come back from a terrible holiday. My family had
a trip to visit Trang An  Scenic Landscape Complex yesterday. We went by coach  for
a 50km trip and I was carsick. That’s a nightmare for me. At this time, I was so tired
that I wished I could have been at home. Thus, when we approached the destination,
I only sat near a big tree and saw a beauty spot. In fact, I was exhausted and didn’t
want to go anywhere. Anyway, we came back home safe and sound.
What’s about holding a wonderful trip for us? I’m looking forward to hearing from you
soon.
