Team
Definition
While driving two drivers work together so one can take rest while another driver

Example of Use

Definition
The real weight of all components including loads, gears and supplies is called cargo
weight.

Berth
Definition
Behind the cab one slipping compartments is called berth.
Example of Use
This slipping berth is used by drivers to take rest on their journey.

Definition

BULK FREIGHT
Definition

refers to the type of cargo. Commonly named as bulk cargo.
Example of Use
Natural gas is transferred in terms of bulk fright in trucks.

Definition

Example of Use

TRANSFER- COMPANY
Definition

Example of Use

OWNER
Definition
A small company or invoices owner who often handles as day operation of the

Example of Use

organization formats and franchises organisations.
Trailer Jackknife
Definition
Whenever the trailer in behind truck returns and virtually crashes with both the car
and truck, it conducts a jackknife.
Example of Use
An instance of a trucking accident is a jackknife incident, typically happened because
when truck skid, loses control, and indeed the trailer loses balance and spins in the
side of the cabin.

Definition

Example of Use

bobcats, and so on, in addition to water proofing, I-beams, steel, concrete, and
numerous miscellaneous basic supplies.
Example of Use
To drive large, heavy, or placarded hazardous material vehicles in commerce, such
as trucks, buses, and trailers, you must have a commercial driver's licence (CDL).

It is generally use by cops while randomly checking the trucks on highways.
BOBTAIL
Definition
Bobtail is driving a freight carrying truck without an attached trailer.
Example of Use
Distant objects around like an airport can be completed by a bobtail tractor operating
at 25 mph simultaneously transporting luggage and storage dump trucks.
CONCEALED DAMAGE
Definition
Damage to a product inside that is not observable again until package is opened.
Example of Use

Concealed damage While product is damaged or missing through travel, but this is
not noted on the Confirmation of Receipt, shipment claims develop.
CARTAGE
Definition
Cartage is the method or cost of carrying cargo along small periods by land, generally
using a truck or rail freight.
Example of Use
Cartage is used when the cargo is transfer from one place to another place in local area.
Truck
Definition
A truck is a form of motor vehicle entirely made for transportation or speciality
equipment.

Forklift
Definition

Example of Use
