IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Formal Approval of Themes for all National and International Conferences will be obtained from
the Honourable Rector through Pro-Rector Academics.
2. Any Amendments in the planned activities should only be made after discussion with the Pro-
Rector Academics/DG and approval from the Honourable Rector.
3. Cultural/Sports Activities will be organized by Faculties/Departments as per the responsibility and
schedule, and issued by Admn Branch and Students Advisor Office.
4. Orientation Sessions must contain comprehensive brief of the Department including NUML
organization and senior management and visit to facilities (Sports facilities, Library, Auditorium,
Students’ Facilitation Center, ASA, Finance, Exam, Acad, MI Room, Masjid etc.)
5. Student’s Participation in ECA (Extra Curricular Activities) and other such activities in order
to create healthy competitive environments, max participation of students and faculty in ECA and
other such activities should be encouraged.
6. All Faculties and Departments will conduct Departmental Board of Studies (DBS) and Faculty
Board of Studies (FBS) in the given time frame.
7. Regional Campuses to prepare their own Campus Calendars within the Academic Structure of this
Calendar and forward to Registrar Office for information.
8. Compliance to this calendar will be ensured by all Branches/Faculties/Departments/Regional
Campuses in true letter and spirit.
