○ With the proliferation of online information, it is easy to find details on a certain
movie you want to watch or a book you would like to read.
● Web Blogging
○ Nowadays, you would see food bloggers posting pictures of their meals in
restaurants along with a review of what they ate.
● YouTube Learners
○ YouTube is one of the most popular social media sites. People can watch videos,
comment on it, upload their own videos, etc. But apart from being a social media
site, one of the main use of YouTube is the extensive video list made available
online.
● Cyberbullying
○ Cyberbullying
● Serious phenomenon brought about by social media. It is an unwanted,
hostile behavior done by individuals to other people in the hope of gaining
control over them. There are three types of bullying behavior - verbal,
social, and physical. Whichever the type may be, none of which is
acceptable.
○ Internet Identity or Internet Persona
● A profile created by internet users to establish their social identity in
online communities, social media sites and other websites.

○ The good news is that society, communities, and the government are creating
ways to stop bullying - be it digital or otherwise. The Philippines has identified
several laws including the Republic Act of 10175 or the Cybercrime
Prevention Act, to help catch cyberbullies.
