1 Make sure that the mains is on

7.2 After Instrument boots up the display shows the company name and machine name
7.3 Press enter to go to home screen
7.4 If the process was previously interrupted there will be an option to continue the process.
To discontinue press 2 (No) and home screen is displayed.

7.5 To create a program

7.5.1 Press 1 to create a program in home screen
7.5.2 Press 1 to add/edit the program
7.5.3 Put a program number and press enter
7.5.4 Put product name and press enter
7.5.5 Put number of tablets to be tested and press enter
7.5.6 Select the tablet form
7.5.7 Display shows tablet weight entry
7.5.8 If weight required press 1 and enter. If not required press 2 and enter.
7.5.9 Display shows tablet hardness required. If required press 1 and enter. If not
required press 2 and enter
7.5.10 Display shows select the unit of hardness. Press the required number and enter.
7.5.11 Display shows tablet length diameter reading. If required press 1 and enter. If not
required press 2 and enter.
7.5.12 Display shows tablet thickness reading. If required press 1 and enter. If not
required press 2 and enter.
7.5.13 Display shows tablet width reading. If required press 1 and enter. If not required
press 2 and enter.
7.5.14 Display shows unit of length/dia/thick/width. Select the number of respective unit
and press enter.
7.5.15 Display shows limit entry. Select the number of respective unit and press enter.
7.5.16 Display shows hardness limit value. Select the number of respective limit and
press enter and enter the respective limit and enter
7.5.17 Display shows nominal length. Enter the value and press enter
7.5.18 Display shows nominal thickness. Enter the value and press enter
7.5.19 Display shows enter thickness limit. Enter the value and press enter
7.5.20 Display shows length/dia/thick/width sensitivity. Add the value and press enter
7.5.21 Display shows breaking sensitivity. Add value and press enter
7.5.22 Display shows speed. Choose the speed and press enter.
7.5.23 After all of this process the display will show program stored and returns back to
program menu.
7.5.24 Press back or escape button and the display will show home screen.

7.6 To run a program

7.6.1 Press 2 button to enter the run menu
 7.6.2 If tablet run of previous product is continued press 2 to discontinue
7.6.3 Enter the program number and press enter
7.6.4 Enter batch number
7.6.5 Enter stage of product
7.6.6 Enter details and comments if needed
7.6.7 Display will show load the sample. Press enter
7.6.8 Load the sample for measuring thickness and press enter
7.6.9 The measuring arm of the tester will protrude out and the display will show the
thickness. Note it down
7.6.10 Align the tablet to measure the Hardness and press enter. The display will show
the hardness once the tablet breaks
7.6.11 After completion of test press esc button to come back to the home screen

7.7 To print the previous data press the number indicating print menu.
7.8 To display the previous data press the number indicating the display menu
7.9 To calibrate, edit date and time, clear calibration, edit run no. and to put the calibration
reminder enter the function menu pressing 5 button.
7.10 Press 6 for configuration.
