I. INTRODUCTION
Pressurization system is a process in which conditioned air is pumped into the cabin of an
aircraft or spacecraft in order to create a safe and comfortable environment for passengers
and crew flying at high altitudes. For aircraft, this air is usually bled off from the gas turbine
engines at the compressor stage, and for spacecraft, it is carried in high-pressure,
often cryogenic tanks.
The air is cooled, humidified, and mixed with recirculated air if necessary before it is
distributed to the cabin by one or more environmental control systems. The cabin pressure is
regulated by the outflow valve. This system uses the temperature conditioning system.
The pressurization control system allows to maintain a pressure corresponding to a cabin
altitude consistent with passengers’ safety and comfort.

II. OBJECTIVE
This chapter to understand pressurization in more detail

SUMMARY

Pressurization system is a process in which conditioned air is pumped into

the cabin of an aircraft or spacecraft in order to create a safe and comfortable environment for
passengers and crew flying at high altitudes.
The Pressurization system divided into several parts, the system consists of :
a. the outflow valve controller
b. the outflow valve
c. the safety valve
PROJECT 1
PRACTICAL TASK ADF Practice

The outflow valve is located on the right, while the safety valve is located on the left. The
pressurizaton system is located at the tail of the plane. The functions and objectives of the
cabin pressurization system are to :

- Create a safe and comfortable atmosphere for passengers.

- Maintain cabin pressure altitude at a maximum condition of 8000ft at the maximum
cruising altitude of the aircraft.
There are two reasons why aircraft need pressurization systems. The first is very
obvious based on the above. A reduction in air pressure leads to significant
physiological effects. The second reason is actually a legal requirement for certain
aircraft.
