1. Real Definition:  It is a science of the ultimate reason/s of beings as acquired by the

aid of human intellect.

2.
Philosophy as a science.

Science refers to a systematic and organized body of knowledge in any area of inquiry
that is acquired using “the scientific method” Science can be grouped into two broad
categories.

 Science is knowledge, but not all knowledge is science. in order for it to become science,

there are certain requirements it must be concrete and verified knowledge that is you are
100% sure of it.

 It should be organized, not just a bunch of data. And third, there must be causal

knowledge that tells us why things are, not just statements of fact or descriptions of
events. For these reasons we call philosophy a science.

Ultimate reason.
 It points to deeper reasons why things progress or why certain events occur.

 this refers to the most fundamental reasons why things exist or why specific events occur.

 It represents the deepest reason why an object appears or why a certain event occurs.

Being.
 "Anything that exist" means anything that can be thought of as corporeal or
immaterial. Here we can see how wide is the scope of our study in philosophy from most
insignificant insect to the most sublime God.

 This applies to everything that exists; This applies to anything that can be considered

physical or non-physical.
 Tangible or intangible, here we can see how wide is our study of philosophy from the
lowest insect to the highest God.

By the aid of human reason / intellect alone.

 Our only source of information or access to truth is our ability to think.

 Our thoughts are the only source from which we can obtain information or

access reality.

 Our thoughts are the only way for us to obtain information or access reality.

3. When a person does such an action, not human action. Thus, human behavior

is common to humans and other animals, and human behavior is
specific to humans.
They are called acts of man but not of human. Human acts are proper to human
beings, and therefore differ from the acts of other animals.
They are referred to as acts of man, but not human. Human acts are unique to humans and thus
differ from those of other animals.

4.

THE EXISTENCE OF GOD

The first assumption is that there is a God whose existence is revealed in our own intelligence
rather than through religious experience. Rather than following his conscience, The fact that the
connection between moral law and happiness in this world is not guaranteed explains this urgent
need for God. Kant demonstrates the necessary compatibility between virtue as a motivating
ideal and the practical embodiment of the highest moral good by presenting God as an idea rather
than a reality.
IMMORTALITY OF THE HUMAN SOUL

Many world religions emphasize the immortality of the human soul. Therefore, most of us

believe that the human soul survives mortality. This afterlife is characterized by the eternal
blessings of heaven for the righteous and the eternal damnation of hell for the wicked.
On the contrary, if there is no afterlife, there is not enough reason to do good, it is difficult to
do good, and it is easy and pleasant to do evil.

FREEDOM OF WILL

Everything is free. This is the basic principle of human freedom. We can rate, evaluate and

choose. We can choose between right and wrong, right and wrong. If people
are not free, there is no reason to investigate right and wrong, and in ethics we have no choice
about what is good and what is bad. But man is free. Therefore, we always have good reasons
to study ethics to increase our ethical or moral sensitivity when making ethical choices
to choose good and avoid evil.

Reflection Paper
This realization taught me that my life is an unfinished puzzle, and each lesson
and achievement slowly adds to my life. Thanks to this experience, I got to know my character
better. I can identify the areas in which I excel and the characteristics that best describe my
personality.

As members of society, we all have a responsibility to help others and improve the

state of society and the world in which we live. We can do this on a small scale and on a large
scale. Pay attention to those around you and try to find ways to meet their needs. We can also do
things that benefit society in the long term, such as investing in education, supporting
charities, donating blood, protecting the environment.

Promote an Environmentally Friendly lifestyle. You don’t have to join any organization
or environmental groups to promote the environment. On your own, you can do it any
time. You can educate your friends and colleagues about how to protect the environment.
You can also spread the word using social media.

For me this is a very important matters that needs to be faced of. The environment plays an
important role in the existence of life on the planet earth. The word Environment is derived from
the French word “Environ” which means “surrounding.” An ecosystem refers to all the living
and non-living things present in the environment and it is a foundation of the Biosphere, which
determines the health of the entire planet earth.

Contribution does not have to mean to act, always. At times, keeping yourself with what is
happening around you also means a lot. Also, keeping yourself updated about important things
can help you act as a more responsible citizen.

Having self-awareness in everyday life is really important specially to cope and to survive in the
society. You have to understand yourself first before understanding the other human being.
Sometimes we feel lost not because we are really losing ourself but it just the matter of we are
not understanding ourself enough to find who we are. Stay positive and keep practicing the self-
awareness.
