? You Should Know

The question words ‘which one’ are used to ask somebody to be


exact about something or someone from a limited number.

To ask for something in a certain amount, use ‘how many’ or ‘how


much’ as the question words. Use ‘many’ when you ask about
countable nouns and use ‘much’ when you ask about uncountable
nouns.

? You Should Know

Prepositions are used when you are talking about the locations of
things. Look at the following pictures and example.

To ask about the location of something, we use

a. Where is your bag? It is on the cough.


b. Where is Tina? She is sitting behind Budi.
c. Where is your car? It is front of that blue car.

To ask about a location in a formal way;

a. Excuse me, where is the bathroom?


b. Do you know where the common room is?
c. Could you tell me where the toilet is?
