Activity 1: Freedom Wall

Directions: The teacher will prepare a freedom wall for the students to write their questions on
culture and society.

1. How can culture affect our daily lives?


2. Can a culture rule over other culture through influence?
3. Can culture change a persons life?
4. What defines a healthy society?
5. Is there a direct relationship between culture and society?
6. Why do we have a culture?
7. Does culture make us unique from others? Why?
8. Is culture should be follow?
9. What is a society for you?

Activity 2: Carousel Brainstorming


Directions: The teacher will divide the class into two groups and ask them to make the first
group the inner circle and the second group the outer circle. The teacher will choose questions from the
freedom wall whereas the inner circle members will answer the questions and the outer circle members
shall fuctions as observers. After 10 questions, the two groups will take role turns.

1. Culture become part of our daily lives. It is what we do and how we behave every day. It also
influence our decision or in making decision.
2. Yes indeed. A lot of cultural beliefs has been replaced by other culture due to the influence
other cultures can cause. It can happen in many different ways, whether it be a more beneficial
culture, a more fun culture, an easier culture, or maby a more convincing truth culture.
3. Not that it can change, let’s say that culture can influence someone to do things that is
appropriate to do.
4. A healthy society is where people become as one rather than boosting each everyone’s ego.
They become one even they have a differences.
5. In our own opinion, there is. Culture is a way of life of a particular people where they develop a
society.
6. We have a culture because we have different beliefs and things to do.
7. No, yes we have different cultures but we believe the uniqueness come from ourselves and not
by culture.
8. It depends, we are different people and different opinion about it. Maybe other people will not
because there are things that they don’t want to follow within their culture so our answer is
depend to a person.
9. A society for us is despite of all the differences in each of everyone of us, we still tend to get
along from each other.
