FEATURING
Vivian is a proper Army brat with a
mallu flavour. After completing his
schooling in various cities, Vivian
enrolled as a Civil Engineer at Mar
Athanasius College of
Engineering(MACE).
Vivian started his professional journey in
2011 as a site engineer for PWD. After
working for about a couple of years, he
realised he would definitely not want to
retire as a civil engineer. So the next few
months were spent discovering what that
job everyone craves to retire. During
those days, Vivian got into several gigs,
including apparel design for clients like St
Xavier's college & NITs.
He stumbled upon stand-up comedy as a
part of a bet he had made with his friend
in 2013. This happy accident led to him
performing in cities like Kolkata, Mumbai,
Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai,
Vishakapatnam, Guwahati so on. In
addition, he has opened for various
established comedians in events powered
by Comedy Central.
Vivian is a TEDx speaker and performed
for The Indian Navy, Vivanta by Taj, Le
Meridian, Grover Zampa, Maruti Suzuki,
Cognizant Technology Solutions, Indigo
Nation, Asian Paints and several others.
Many major media houses have covered
him in their write-ups.
Vivian founded Kochin Komedian in 2016,
the first stand-up comedy club in Kerala, to
accelerate the advent of stand-up comedy
in his home state.
During the pandemic, he hosted Kerala's
first podcast: Vivian's Irrelevant Podcast.
In 2022 made his debut in the
award-winning movie Aavasavyuham: The
Arbit Documentation of An Amphibian
Hunt.
Vivian writes short stories and chills with
some good music in his spare time.
On realising that there is no ideal job
where everything goes your way, Vivian
decided only to do jobs that dont require
an alarm clock to wake up in the morning.
The rest is, as they say, history.
