A significant investment was made in the design and
construction of the state-of-the-art, purpose-built Plumbline
headquarters based Wellington. Completed in 2017, the
office and distribution facilities are contemporary, efficient
and designed to accommodate future growth.
The 5000m2 building houses modern office facilities, an in-
house café, warehousing/distribution centre, and a world-
class showroom. Accommodating the intensity of the
in-and-out flow of goods, the highly organised warehouse
contains customised racking with over 4000 pallet spaces Our Warehouse

Our comprehensive warehouse management systems
result in a 99.6% order picking accuracy rate.
The complex has been constructed with environmental
sustainability in mind with features such as high use of

born from a central box form, clad in two
toned dark stained veneered joinery linking the
two zones together.

To balance the ‘boxed form’ a layered island

in the foreground of the space intercepts and

was originally built in the 1800’s as a horse
stables and was later transformed by John
Britten personally into his unique home.

After the 2011 Christchurch earthquakes,

John’s daughter, together with her husband,
lovingly restored it’s original charm and
transformed it into the exquisite boutique
luxury B&B that it is today.
