INTRODUCTION
In today's integration trend, foreign languages are the bridge between knowledge bases
in the world. Foreign languages are not only an effective tool for employees in finding
a good job, but also a useful means in improving the quality of people's material and
spiritual lives. As a result, learning a foreign language is extremely necessary because
it is not only a communication tool but also a means for students to easily learn and
absorb the vast knowledge of mankind as well as absorb the knowledge of the world
and integrate with the world so that they can contribute their best to the renewal and
ascent of the country. More specifically, the English language has become an
indispensable tool in communication and business activities in companies or
workshops. Vietnam is increasingly developing and popularizing the English language
as an indispensable need. Stemming from that need, MIA Education was born to create
a professional English learning environment for learners. With many years of teaching
experience of professional teachers, MIA Education has made continuous efforts, has
successfully welcomed and trained more than 1,000,000 students and achieved many
outstanding achievements in the field of training this international language. Hundreds

Hai Phong city, who have been trained methodically and professionally, have
contributed to bringing the center's name to life further. The center's development
orientation is to expand its scale in combination with attracting students and improving
training quality.
With the permission of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Hai Phong University and
the Management Board of MIA Education, I had the opportunity to learn and research
about the Center in general. Through the internship process with the enthusiastic guidance
of the instructor - teacher Pham Thi Phuong and the staff in charge of guidance at the
Center, I had the opportunity to work and successfully complete this internship report. In

2.3. Advantages and disadvantages during the internship

Internships are the final stage of students' learning, allowing them to apply what they
have learned in class to real-life situations. Only a few months but each individual will
gain valuable experience. Among them there are advantages and disadvantages to the
practice process.
* Advantages
Through this internship, I was exposed to the internship environment, which helped
me gain more experience, familiarize myself with the working environment and it
helped me perfect and improve my professional and communication skills. . In
addition, to consolidate existing knowledge, apply appropriately and learn a lot of
professional knowledge and experience. At the same time, help me improve teaching
skills and methods for students, especially grasping students' psychology to solve all
problems in the learning process. This helps me have more advantages in the process
of working after graduation.
During the internship, I well obeyed the rules, regulations and policies of the center,
did not affect the working process of the center, was friendly and gentle with
everyone, made good use of professional skills. subjects and soft skills, actively
learning, accumulating experience during the internship, trying to complete the
assigned work well. At the same time, I also self-study, constantly learn, refer to
documents assigned by managers and directors to hone my vocabulary and improve
my skills. Being able to work at taambhbhbh/hb center, under a professional and
serious working environment, helps me form my style, communicate at work as well
as train myself to follow the company's own rules. Moreover, I also learned a lot of

15
valuable experiences from the. ..I received a lot of attention from the instructor, she
always cared and guided me enthusiastically during my internship at the center.
*Disadvantages
When I have direct contact with the work, I realize that I still lack experience in
teaching students, preparing textbooks for students. Besides, there is anxiety, fear that
you can't do the job, lack of experience, and time pressure. Students at the school
worry about studying, reviewing skills, first exposed to real work that I have never
done before, making me a bit confused in how to handle work. Because I learned more
theory than practice, I still have many shortcomings in my profession. I feel less
confident when I stand in front of the class.
The background skills are still at a new level, I have not yet mastered them and
gradually adapt to the new and challenging working environment in different fields as
well as the specialized field that I am studying and work.

16
CHAPTER 3: ACHIEVED RESULTS
3.1. Knowledge
3.1.1. General knowledge
First of all, I have been researching and learning the center of education. Moreover, I
practiced and applied expert knowledge. Improved and understand more about English
knowledge such as grammar, vocabulary and skills.
Internship at the center helped me learn how to manage work logically and
professionally. I have learned how to manage and develop teaching skills for students.
Enhance my knowledge in a major other than the one I am studying. It gives me the
opportunity to try out in more fields.
In addition, I have learned the necessary knowledge and skills for my current and
future work. It is knowledge of office work, knowledge of communication with people
around, knowledge of development and self-control….
3.1.2. Language knowledge
To begin with, language consists of three parts: phonetics, vocabulary and grammar.
The units of language are phonemes, morphemes, words, sentences, phrases, texts...
These are the basic knowledge of the language and also the language knowledge that I
have learned. Because of understanding the properties and systems in the English
language, it is effective to apply it in practice. At the center, I have a lot of exposure to
English, so I can improve my language knowledge through working and speaking with
foreigners.
Secondly, I have applied my knowledge of English grammar, semantics and intonation in
the communication process and flexibly apply this knowledge in language analysis in
translation to perform well in real topics. practice; acquire semantic analysis skills
appropriate to the context and apply skills in professional work.
One of the other benefits of acquired language knowledge has been the expansion of
english vocabulary. My initial vocabulary was basically equipped by the school. So I
have a weak vocabulary. After working, interacting with documents, data... and
foreigners, I have accumulated a specialized vocabulary. Besides, I have put what I
have learned to work to improve and develop my language - English.
Applying basic concepts in English Phonetics contributes to improving the accuracy of
pronunciation to help listeners understand correctly.

17
Observe, learn, acquire and create English language knowledge; expand and improve
specialized vocabulary to apply that knowledge to professional life and works.
Synthesize and apply English knowledge and skills accumulated during study and
internship at the agency into life and work later. From there, develop 4 skills: listening,
speaking, reading and writing in professional work.
3.2. Skills
3.2.1. Language skills
Grasp general language skills: Ability to use English fluently; express problems in
written and spoken form clearly, easy to understand and appropriate style; has good
editing skills; Can understand the content of a report or speech on familiar topics in
work related to the trained industry; can use English to express and handle
professional situations at work; can write reports, documents and present opinions in
professional works.
Listening and speaking skills in English: I have the opportunity to interact and work
with colleagues. Therefore, I can talk and exchange directly with them about their
expertise during working hours or after hours to learn and improve their expertise.
When I was at school, I could only listen and practice speaking through online
materials, youtube, and websites provided by lecturers. But now, I can listen and talk
directly with foreigners. From there, I realized my own mistakes such as slow listening
reflex or unnatural way of speaking. During that time, I took note of those things and
changed them day by day. The pronunciation has gotten better and the listening reflex
is getting faster and faster. I found that through the working sessions, there are
professional knowledge about the language that I have not learned.
Improve reading and writing skills: : I have access to information technology in the
company through the use of English.
3.2.2. Soft skills
Firstly, communication skills: During the internship, I improved my communication
skills to help me become more confident and integrate better with my colleagues. The
working environment at the company helps me to apply my knowledge to practice
with the professional industry. This is a place where I can use my 2nd language
regularly. Thereby, I have realized that I still have unnatural machine communication,

18
and my vocabulary for communication is still limited. After the internship, I improved
my vocabulary and communication skills.
Secondly, teamwork skills: Improve teamwork skills, help team members to progress
together and complete the best work. Listen to opinions, learn and absorb the strengths
of the members. From there, draw lessons for yourself, improve working spirit,
cooperate with colleagues in a positive way, always support for the common benefit of
the whole team. Besides, I learned problem solving skills in teamwork. Ability to
handle problems when problems occur. Logical thinking, faster than at first practice.
Self-confident and proactive skills: I learned how to work proactively to develop my
work. Actively explore jobs, actively work and make suggestions together with people.
I have integrated better with people and working environment around me through
working sessions, meetings and presentations.
Finally, computer skills: Proficient in computer tools such as office software (Word,
Excel, Power point) and other software for professional work; proficient in searching
materials on the Internet for study and research; necessary computer skills: learn from
electronic data sources and access to digital resources, web, email, remote
communication, etc.
3.2.3. Teaching skills
What I learned from this internship is teaching skills. I used to work as a teacher and
teaching assistant. During the process of working as a teaching assistant, I learned
teaching methods and skills of teachers. Therefore, I can learn and draw experience for
myself before teaching students. When teaching and explaining grammar structures to
students, I noticed that my English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation have
improved a lot. I have improved my ability to remember knowledge during the
teaching process.

19
CONCLUSION
In today's globalization trend, the importance of English cannot be denied. Along with
the development of technology, medicine, engineering and education, service and
many other profession groups. It is often said that knowing a foreign language means
you have lived a new life. Because when you learn and understand English, you will
know more about the culture, country and people here. Besides, we can also make
friends with many friends around the world. And discover new things from many
different countries. Therefore, after 10 weeks of practice, although it is not a long time,
it is a very meaningful time for me and my future. For me, this will be my luggage so
that I can prepare well for the job after graduation.
During the internship, I realized that at the beginning of the internship, I still had many
shortcomings: insufficient professional knowledge, poor working skills, not yet sure of
the rules of the working system at the center. . But after the internship, I have become
integrated with my colleagues; expand knowledge and improve professional
knowledge; confidently communicate, deal with people and leaders at all levels,
especially improve teaching skills for students ... Although initially facing many
difficulties and inevitable mistakes and surprises when initially doing it actual work.
But thanks to the full support of the brothers and sisters in the center, I have gradually
gotten used to the work. With the enthusiastic guidance of the instructors, I have
successfully accomplished the goals set out during this internship. Through this
internship, I have learned many valuable lessons for myself: knowing the importance
of learning English more; listen to admit mistakes and correct them when they make
mistakes; study hard to find out new knowledge, new teaching methods, appreciate
and save time; change thinking to work more positively, more proactively….
In the future, there will definitely be many difficult challenges in the path that I
choose, but I believe that with my own efforts and what I have learned from everyone
through this internship, it will help me to be stronger, more confident and optimistic. I
would like to thank all of MIA Education Services and trading company limited and
the guide - Do Thi Mai Anh for giving me the opportunity to challenge myself and
experience the real work. I would like to thank HPU and the teachers, especially the
instructor – Pham Thi Phuong, for once again giving me the opportunity to put theory
into practice and better understand my major.
