INTERNSHIP JOB DESCRIPTION

Rane Legal is looking to hire a legal intern for a minimum of 3 months and up to 6
months in their team. Law students currently pursuing LL.B. wishing to gain first-hand
experience of working in a Legal-Tech Start-up and participate in this rapidly growing field
can apply for this internship position.

R.G.Rane and Company LLP is a boutique law firm that focuses in the field of Start-up Law,
Corporate Law, Employment Laws, Due Diligence and Litigation. Founded by Adv Raunak
Rane, RGR & Co LLP works with MSMEs as legal advisors to provide solutions for their legal
matters. We are an outcome-oriented and solution focused law firm.

We’re currently focused on building a Legal-tech start-up by building a cloud-based

Law Firm.
About the Internship
Intern’s day-to-day responsibilities would include:

 Conduct legal research and make reports on the latest trends in Legal-Tech innovation
(Web3, Contract Automation Systems, Online Dispute Resolution, etc)
 Effective Coordination, collaboration and operations within the firm
 Keep up-to-date with developments in the area of Legal-Technology
 Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or
opportunities arise.
 Build and maintain internal & external network for purpose of Business
Development
 Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct

Eligibility
Preferably those candidates who -

 Are tech savvy and DO NOT WANT TO PRACTICE LAW IN AGE OLD
TRADITIONAL METHODS.
 Are law students in 3rd/4th/5th year of 5-year course
 Have a laptop and internet connection (This is a Online working opportunity)
 Have relevant skills and interests
 Can start the internship IMMEDIATELY

Required Skills

 Self-driven individuals with good legal interpretation skills

 Visionary lawyers who have a view of the future.
 Passionate about Technology laws and the field of Legal-tech
 Have a good understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook,
LinkedIn)
 Intermediate/Proficient level skill in MS word, and Excel
 Proficient level in English (Spoken and Written)
