INTERNATIONAL VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT TO

RECRUIT EXPERTS

kombolcha textile share company is a public enterprise, with an integrated

spinning, weaving & finishing sections to produce yarn& fabrics for local and export
markets.
The company wishes to recruit and employ qualified & experienced experts on contract
employment term in the discipline presented here under.
Interested applicants are invited to submit their credentials to either directly to the
address of the company or through their embassy in Ethiopia.

I .OBJECTIVE
The objective of recruiting foreign experts is to strengthen the company's
capability in areas of electronics, export market and ICT.

II . POSITIONS

Position 1 = ELECTRONIC EXPERT

1.1.Required qualification
first degree in electrical & electronics technology from recognized
university.
1.2. Desired skill
Certified experience in trouble shooting & repairing electronic parts of
modern textile machineries ( spinning, weaving & finishing machineries )
1.3 Duties and responsibilities
 Identifying the problem of defective electronic parts, understanding the
root causes.
 Providing intensive training on cares that have to be taken to reduce
failure of electronic parts & on trouble shooting & repairing.
 Organizing the electronic laboratory materially for testing, redesigning
and modifying parts.

Position 2 = WET PROCESSING EXPERT

2.1.Required qualification:
Bachelors/Masters Degree ; in wet processing / chemical finishing / or
related fields from recognized university.
2.2 Duties& responsibilities
proven track record in design and production of good quality terry towel,
drill and heavy fabrics
Position 3 = TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY EXPERT FOR SPINNING,
WEAVING & FINISHING PROCESS

3.1 Required Qualification

Bachelors / Masters Degree; in textile technology from recognized university
3.2 duties & responsibilities
proven track record in design and production of good quality terry towel, drill
and heavy fabrics.

position 4 = MARKETING EXPERT

4.1 Required qualification

Bachelors / masters Degree ; in marketing (textile marketing) or a related
fields from recognized university.
4.2 duties & responsibilities
 proven track record in global marketing
 ensure the improvement of the export sales and preparation of
marketing strategy of the company
 market assessment, training and development of the company's
marketing crew.

Position 5 = INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

EXPERT

5.1 Required qualification

Bachelors/Masters Degree in ICT /IT/ computer science form recognized
University.
5.2 duties& responsibilities:
 To act as administrator for computerized net work system in the
company and to work with other ICT experts.
 To review existing ICT provision and draw up annual ICT development
plan for the ongoing process of ICT investment in the company
 To support and assist the management team introducing flexible
working and adopting new working practices using ICT.
 To ensure security and integrity of computerized systems through a
comprehensive routine of multiple data backup.
 To assist ICT experts in developing and maintaining in-house software
systems and assist managers in developing and expanding the use of
computerized systems and application to improve operational
performance
 To trouble shoot and provide hands on assistance where necessary
relating to the ICT system
 To make recommendation regarding the provision, coordination and
delivery of necessary ICT training in the company and deliver training
Were necessary
 To identify opportunities for improvement in ICT provision in the
company and in specific areas ,making recommendation for
improvement
 To insure by development and maintenance that comprehensive
documentation is available for all active programs
 To co-ordinate the collection and distribution of performance
management information requested by the management team
 To act as liaison with other organizations with responsibility for ICT
co-ordination, development and management
 To assist managers in developing and expanding the use of
computerized systems and application to improve operational
performance and to provide proactive support for implementation of
any required systems.
 To assist managers in the use of available required performance
management information
 To co-ordinate and support the delivery of ICT development
/customization projects.
 To under take such other duties related to the work of the department as
may be assigned , which are consistent with the nature of the job and
its level of responsibility.
 Any other relevant duties and responsibilities as may arise.

III. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & REQUIRMENT

1.Required experience for all positions;

 Proven experience for bachelors of at least 12 years and for masters

degree at least 10 years in well recognized textile companies /
organization
 Knowledge of the latest technology in the field and exposure to major
textile machineries of these days
 Good communication skills , including fluency in speaking & writing in
English.

2.Applicants proposal and profile

 The applicant proposal should include the CV,s ,educational & work
experiences credentials
  The applicants proposal should include their successful performance in
previous assignments especially in recognized modern export oriented
multi-national textile industry.

 The applicants are also required to mention name position, qualification

& current address of their references.

3.Duration of the contract

 One year with a possibility of extension depending on the proven

performance of each experts.

3.Fees & Expenses

 The applicants are required to indicate their fees & expenses, by

mentioning clearly the foreign exchange fees and local costs
separately.
 Payment term should be Monthly

4.Deadline for Application

 Not later than 15 AUGUST 2009.
