 Professionalism
Industrial wastes management is a complex activity, which requires a high degree of professional training, a
good knowledge and understanding of the legislation in the field, as well as a careful monitoring of the market.
The analysis of the demands, working procedure determination, the coordination and development of the
entire activity are performed by a trained and specialized staff, in number of 45 people with a superior training
(chemical engineers, environmental engineers, biochemists, biologistis, construction engineers, automotive
engineers, trained and ADR (transport of dangerous goods) licensed professional drivers) and a number of
over 90 workers and people with medium studies who works at the working points of the company.

  Certifications
All the activities are performed according to an integrated quality, environment and occupational safety
management system, certified according to the requirements of the international standards SR EN ISO
9001:2015, SR EN ISO 14001:2015, SR EN ISO 45001:2018.
In the same time, the development of the activities carried out on the site is done respecting the
provisions of the environmental permits issued by the Environmental Protection Agency, increased attention is
paid to the protection of the environmental factors, performing periodic analyzes to determine their quality. At
the level of the company sites and warehouses, all measures are taken to avoid the occurance of accidental
pollution.
The activity of collection, transport and final disposal of industrial wastes is authorized at national level
by the Environmental Protection Agency. The transport of the hazardous wastes is carried out in full
compliance with the requirements of the Romanian Road Authority regarding the ADR transport.

Wastes transport
APISORELIA Company owns a fleet of more than 30
vehicles of various capacities, authorized for the transport of
hazardous, non-hazardous, recyclable wastes and even for
transport of the medical wastes. The diversity of the fleet allows
the collection and transport of wastes, regardless of the quantities
collected and the distances to be covered to the storage depots, or
to the points of recovery/final disposal.

Taking into account the experience gained in its field of

activity, our company is recommended by the professional activity
carried out, led by specialized staff with high training and

 Depollution, decontamination
and ecologization activities
APISORELIA Company is authorized to carry out various activities
and services of depollution, decontamination and ecologization, on-site or
off-site. We have many years of experience in this field.
Our activity is carried out by applying a sustainable waste
management system, based in the National Waste Management Plan, a key-
tool for the implementation in Romania of the European Union policy in
the field of wastes.
Among the depollution, decontamination and ecologization activities
carried out, we mention only a few:
- cleaning and decontamination of tanks, railway tanks, ;
- cleaning and decontamination of industrial halls ;
- depollutin and ecologization of soils contaminated with petroleum
products.

 Bioremediation and treatment of soils

Bioremediation activity refers to the use of microorganisms to degrade the contaminants that
represent a risk for the quality of the environmental factors and for the human health.
Bioremediation is a cost-effective and natural biotechnological process, fueled by microbial
enzymes. The use of enzymes in the bioremediation process has considerable advantages over
conventional bioremediation performed with the help of bacteria and nutrients.
Both, in-situ (on-site) and ex-situ (off-site- removal and treatment) approaches are used.

 The versatility of microorganisms to degrade a wide range of pollutants makes bioremediation a
technology that can be applied to many types of soil.
Bioremediation depends on the interactions that take place between the following three factors:
• substrate (pollutant);
• organisms;
• environment.
Bioremediation involves the use of various microorganisms that are able to degrade and to reduce the
toxicity of the environmental pollutants..
APISORELIA Company has gained experience in the field of bioremediation of soil contaminated with
hydrocarbons following the development of various projects in Romania, but also at internationally level. The
projects carried out in Kuwait have a great contribution, where the climatic conditions specific to the dessert area,
the nature of hydrocarbons, but also the characteristics of the sandy soil, have led to the application of a new
bioremediation solution that has had spectacular results. The results obtained were presented in workshops
regarding the problem of soil pollution, being appreciated by other participants with experience in this research

 Soil decontamination is an area currently debated and considered
worldwide. Many activities are organized to help raise awareness of the
importance of this environmental factor.
APISORELIA Company through its specialists in the field of
soil decontamination, presented spme aspects and obtained results
during public events, like Kuwait Environmental Remediation
Forum.
During this forum, ideas about the successfully applied soil
treatment procedures were shared. The results obtained and the method
applied by the specialists from APISORELIA Company, including the
results obtained following the application of the bioremediation process
received the appreciation of the other participants.

 Emulsions and wastewaters treatment
Emulsions are mixtures of two or more immiscible liquid components. This types of
products usually results from mechanical activities, and due to the large amounts of
emulsions resulting from these activities it is preferred to be treated on-site or off-site.
APISORELIA Company offers a good alternative to emulsion treatment using a
treatment plant that gives very good results.

 The emulsion treatment plant used is a complex one, which offers very good results, with
a processing capacity of thousands of tons per hour. Emulsions and wastewaters treatment is
performed using the following modules:

 secondary filter station for emulsions and wastewaters;

 The emulsions and wastewaters treatment process can be outlined as follows:

The concentrate is stored on site, managed correctly and then sent to a specialized
company for disposal.

From each serie of condensate are taken samples that are analyzed, in order to obtain
the values of physico-chemical parameters. These values need to be below the acceptable
limit value stipulated in the legislative normative NTPA 002 regarding the quality of the
wastewaters discharged into the sewerage network. 28

different generators, legal persons or state institutions,
non-hazardous recyclable wastes (paper, cardboard,
polyethileneterephtalate PET, polyetilene foil and other
plastic materials, textile wastes), which are sorted into
categories, compactated, and then transported to the
authorized companies that carry out the recovery of the
wastes according to the contracts concluded. Another
option for recycling these wastes is the processing on-

The alternative fuel (fluff) is obtained by shreddering and dehydrating municipal wastes or industrial
solid wastes. Fluff represent an alternative fuel for the cement industry, energy industry and also for the
metalurgical industry.
Wastes (after the selective collection of recyclable materials) are processed by mechanical treatmnet
and crushing. The alternative fuel (fluff) resulted after this process is comercialized and co-incinerated in the
power generrating installations or in other installations which needs heat for the functioning.

 The product can be used for energy recovery,
and it is generally used in the following
thermical conversion processes:
 combustion in coal-fired boilers;
 co-incineration in cement kilns;
 co-gasification with coal or biomass.

 The use of fluff-type alternative fuel has the following advantages:
 allows the management and recovery of municipal wastes, being a valid alternative to their storage in
a final landfill;
 its use in industrial processes offers greater flexibility than just waste incineration. Its use reduces CO2
emissions, as installations can partially replace fossil fuels;
 according to the national environmental policies, the use of fluff allows the marketing of white
certificates and of the green certificates. These certificates demonstrate that a certain amount of energy has
been saved and that a certain amount of electricity has been generated from renewable energy sources.
