1. What is the importance of studying Materials Science and Engineering as future engineers?

The field of materials science and engineering is important both from a scientific perspective, as well as for
applications field. Materials are of the utmost importance for engineers (or other applied fields), because
usage of the appropriate materials is crucial when designing systems

2. In your opinion, what is the most important development in materials science and engineering that was
contributed in your field? Why do you think so?
Maybe, metal is the most important in materials science and engineering that contributed in the field of
mechanical engineering because just imagine you are driving a car, and suddenly apply brakes. The brakes
are made up of plastic. They are able to stop your car for 1–2 time. You replace material with metals. The life
of brake improves, and metals are commonly used materials in our present world
