o an outline of your key areas of interest in management or other fields
o an outline of your prior work experience, if any

o The assessment will be based on both quantity and quality

o The quality of your participation will be determined by the extent to which your responses:
 break new ground and raise the flow of discussion to a higher level
 indicate critical thinking rather than just an expression of personal opinion
 draw links between what you have learned in other sessions or courses
 take risks in attempting to answer challenging questions
 link to comments of others, facilitating the flow of the discussion

o Students will form a team of 5-6 persons
o Each team will choose a topic & position of debate (on a first-come-first-serve basis)
o The teams need to submit their presentation slides on CANVAS 1 day prior to their
presentation
o The score will consist of the instructor’s evaluation (25%) and the evaluation of
the audience (5%) regarding which group they find more convincing.
o The duration of each presentation should be around 15 minutes & at least 3
questions for your opponent (-2% penalty for presentation over-run more than 5
minutes).

Write an essay (3000 words max, including tables, figures, and appendice) analyzing
a firm’s CSR activities, which should at least:
o provide the firm’s background and its CSR activities/initiatives
o critically analyze the firm’s resources and capabilities in relation to CSR, and

o critically analyze how industrial and environmental conditions present
challenges and/or opportunities to the firm’s CSR.
