Check condition of screw, trough, covers, guards. Ensure all

bolts and nuts are installed and secure

Clean the Screw Conveyor externally , open all covers, wash

and scrape the unit to remove unwanted solids build-up
Check overall condition of trough, check for weld cracks and

structural defects
4 Check all hanger retaining bolts are tight and secure
5 visually check the hanger is properly aligned and it's not
bent or twisted
6 Visually check there is no sign of damage or overheating of
the bearing retainer
7 Check bearing cover bolts are tight and secure

8 Check for leaks at the variator and gearbox / reducer

Check the variator and gearbox / reducer oil levels, refill if
9
necessary (Follow procedure)
10 Check the condition and tension of belts
Clean, inspect, and function test all micro-switches and
11
contacts (if applicable)
12 Inspect drive coupling for loose fit and alignment
Check bolt torque of motor mounting to plate and skid, and
13
connecting trough flanges and guards
Ensure Screw Conveyor tags are in place. Clean and protect
14
them with thin coat of grease
Ensure electrical component tags on motors and control
15 panel(s) are in place. Clean and protect them with thin coat
of grease
Check electrical grounding is complete on skid and skid to
16
rig structure
17 Check external condition of all electrical boxes for damage

18 Inspect and clean the air inlet of the electrical motor fans
Ensure grease fittings are clean and undamaged and grease
19 Drive Bearing (drive element): Add 2 shots of grease (use
ERG GREASE EP2 or equivalent)
If work is completed with this STEM, securely install/close all
20 covers, panels, boxes, and guards with all appropriate
fasteners. Otherwise, continue with next STEM
