I arrive/reach φτάνω
I arrive I start/begin
Let us look back to the future tense which always has the small word
«θα» in front of the verb.
Διάβασα I read
Αγόρασα I bought
Άνοιξα I opened

Θα διαβάσω τα βιβλία
Listen now to Andreas when he will tell us what he will do this weekend.
He will use two new verbs ξεκινώ ( I start or set off) and φτάνω (I
arrive/reach).
Ξεκίνησα έφτασα

Look at the verb again with the future as well

Αύριο θα βρέξει
Tomorrow it will rain
Θα βρέχει όλη μέρα
It will be raining all day
Θα περνάω ωραία
I will be passing well (Having a good time)
Θα περάσω ωραία
I will pass well
Θα χτυπάς τη πόρτα
You will knocking the door
Θα χτυπήσεις τη πόρτα
You will knock (on) the door
Θα διαβάζω με προσοχή
I will be reading with attention
Θα διαβάσω με προσοχή
I will read with attention
Θα πάω με τα πόδια
I will go with the feet (on foot)
Θα πηγαίνω με τα πόδια
I will be going on foot
Θα με ρωτήσεις και απαντώ
You will be ask me and I answer
Θα με ρωτάς και θα απαντώ
You will be asking me and I will answer
Θα πάρω μαζί το σκύλο μου
I will take with me my dog
Θα παίρνω μαζί το σκύλο μου
I will be taking with me my dog

Let us try a translation in which you will choose the correct verb
In English we say “up there”, in Greek though the place word comes first
