Ceramic Tiles

The minerals used in manufacturing the ceramic tiles are Quartz, Feldspar,
Zircon, Talc, Frot-O, Frit- T, Aluminum oxide, Sodiumntrypoly phosphate China
clay, Bikaner clay, etc. Quartz sand is used in the ceramic industry for making
ceramic tiles. The silica present in the sand helps in providing white color to the
ceramic ware and helps in making the ceramic body.

Gold Necklace

It

occurs in a solid solution series with the native element silver (as electrum),
naturally alloyed with other metals like copper and palladium, and mineral
inclusions such as within pyrite. Less commonly, it occurs in minerals as gold
compounds, often with tellurium (gold tellurides). Today, pyrite is used mostly
in costume jewelry and beads. Its softness renders it ideal for being faceted, or
carved into floral shapes, such as roses, or even formed into polished cabochons.
On some occasions, chunks of pyrite crystals are used in jewelry without being
faceted to an astonishing effect.

Toothpaste

Minerals can be found in your toothpaste, and they’re there for good
reason. Calcium and phosphorous (in the form of phosphate), along with fluoride,
are included in toothpaste because they play a key role in keeping your teeth
from becoming soft ang yucky, which makes it easy for cavities to form. Fluoride is
used to prevent tooth decay. It is taken up by teeth and helps to strengthen
teeth, resist acid, and block the cavity-forming action of bacteria.
Laptop

Modern computers rely on the silicon chip to process information. The

mineral quartz contains silicon, and is of great importance in electronics.
You may not see the inside of a computer, but the screen you are now
staring at is made of quartz as well. Quartz crystals control the timing of the
computer chips in your devices. Every electronic component has some sort
of clock, and for the most part, each clock is made of quartz.
Baby Face Powder
Talc is a naturally occurring mineral used in some consumer products,
including personal care products like cosmetics. Pure talc and talc-containing rock
are mined from the earth. Talc is made up of magnesium, silicon, oxygen and
hydrogen. Its physical properties make it one of the softest naturally occurring
minerals. As a powder, it absorbs moisture well and helps cut down on
friction, making it useful for keeping skin dry and helping to prevent rashes.
It is widely used in cosmetic products such as baby powder and adult body
and facial powders, as well as in a number of other consumer products
