“The Charm of Costume in the Eyes of the East and the West”
EU-China Costume Cultural Exchange

Introduction

The course, launched by Beijing Language and Culture

University, would describe and display the living customs, national
culture, and religious beliefs, as well as the evolution of language
and the writing system involved in costume culture over the past
few hundreds of years. The courses are taught in both Chinese and
English, and encourage Chinese and Romanian students to work
together to complete learning tasks.

Class Information

The project will start in early January, 2022 and is expected to

end on February 1st, 2022, and the courses will run from 10:00 to
11:30 or 13:00 to 14:30 (Romanian time), 8 times in total.
There is no age limit or Chinese proficiency requirement, and
the courses are free. You can register for as many lectures as you
want since they are all independent units.
To obtain a certificate, you must attend 4 courses, either live or
recorded lectures.
