SYNOPSIS OF SEMINAR
Nonwoven geotextiles are commonly used for coastal and riverbank revetment system. In this
session, TenCate will share the selection of nonwoven geotextile grade based on different
applications. Geotextile key performance properties, on-site handling & installation will also be
covered in the session.

Besides of the revetment nonwoven geotextile, application of anti-clogging filtration geotextile for
problematics soils and in-woven loops revetment geotextile for submerged condition will be part of
the sharing as well.

BIODATA OF SPEAKERS
Mr. Tan Jun Yuen graduated from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman with a
Bachelor of Engineering (HONS) Civil Engineering. He is a Senior
Technical Engineer at TenCate with expertise and experience in
geotechnical, geohydraulic and geosynthetic applications in Asia Pacific.
Jun Yuen specializes in applications marketing and technical services in
the Water and Environment division. He has authored and presented
some papers in international conferences such as 11th International
Conference on Geosynthetics, Seoul (11ICG, 2018): ‘Green revetment
Mr. Tan Jun Yuen solutions for riverbank erosion protection’.

Mr. Siew Kok Hau graduated from the National Chiao Tung University
with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Currently, he is a Senior
Sales Engineer at TenCate Geosynthetics and has been responsible for
providing technical sales support and development of value-added
products in the Asia region.
