Statement of the Problem

This study aimed to investigate the psychological factors influencing students'

academic motivation and learning behavior as perceived by the STEM students.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following:

1. What is the profile of the participants in terms of:

1.1 sex;

1.2 age; and

1.3 grade level?

2. What psychological factors affect STEM students' academic motivation and learning

behavior?

1.1 stress;

1.2 anxiety;

1.3 depression; and

1.4 loneliness?

3. Is there a significant difference between psychological factors, academic motivation

and learning behavior of students when grouped according to their profile?

4. Based on the findings of the study, what recommendations may be proposed?
