AR T
For the grown-ups:
This book is full of hands-on arty ideas to help children explore their
creativity as they experiment with different materials. For each creative media
section, there is a handy “tools needed” catalogue and 6+ projects to try. Just lay
out one set of materials at a time, then your child is ready to go – and parents only
need to clean up once!

Safety Mess
Children should be supervised at all times when doing these projects. They may aler t!
need help with some of the trickier activities such as cutting cardboard.
Always ensure your child uses non-toxic paints and materials.

Mess alert!
Some of the projects will make a mess (that’s part of the fun)! Protect the area
where your child is creating – or even encourage them to do the projects outside.
Wearing old clothes or an apron is advisable.
