MOTIVATION LETTER FOR RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT

SCHOLARSHIP

Academic experience:
Since wearing the blue uniform (kindergarten School) ,I've been immersed
in the world of art. Most of the time I have is spent on art without my
realizing it. My teachers, friends, family, and everyone in my community
said the same thing that "I have a talent in the arts", From here then I
thought of helping and advancing not only my homeland country but All
countries that need progress in architectural development.
80% of my academic and organizational experience is related to "art", I
was also chosen when my high school was elected as a school
representative to participate in the district level mathematics olympiad
competition, not only that, I also won 1st place (first) in class for 6
semesters (it's mean 6 times in 1st winner) while in high school. i am active
in math and always get very good grades. When I was in grade 2 high
school I was elected as vice chairman of the arts students organizations,
which was specially chosen by the school. I have won an award for 2 times
(consecutive years) in designing wooden house miniatures in second grade
high school, and also won first place in designing a glass house miniature in
the final grade or third grade high school (equivalent to grade 12) in the
cultural course or class. I also won 1st place in PMR or Scouting at the
district level in North Aceh with the theme "utilizing waste into works of
art in a creative and useful way". And there are still many that I cannot
mention. The courses I have taken include painting competitions,
contemporary music, calligraphy, knitting, and many more that i can not
explain one by one. After graduating from high school last year I got a
scholarship at Udayana University majoring in the Tourism Travel Industry
which is located in Bali with a test route and my name is in first place with
competition of nearly 700 people at the national level or all Indonesian.
but I couldn't continue my studies due to economic problems. All the
organizations, competitions, courses, and volunteering activities that I
participated giving me the confidence to continue my studies in
architecture.

Why russian:

Making Russian a country to continue studies, especially architectural

education, is really relevant and suitable. Russian country which is rich in
history, culture, and tourism makes me amazed and excited, even a
country that biggest in the world has own characteristics. In my opinion,
the environment and social environment are very supportive of
architecture because for artists inspiration is one of the primary needs in
their work and research.
Russia has become a role model for my research in the development of
architectural buildings because according to the CEIC data report, tourist
arrivals in Russia reached 24,419,000 people in November 2019.
Amazingly, tourism is one of the largest Russian state revenue sectors for
many years, I think there is no country that is more suitable to continue
my studies in the best other than in Russia.

My research:
After conducting hands-on research and field studies I found that there
was very little artistic building development in Indonesia,
Even my country is the fifth most populous country in the world, and most
of them live in not feasible places. According to my research results, the
reason of this problem is not because of Indonesia's territory is narrow or
small, but because most of the Indonesian population uses land as
agricultural or plantation land, this is not wrong, but the impact that arises
is that the center of community housing becomes narrow and the
environment is limited, and 80% of 100% of buildings are not only housing

but hospitals, hotels, and trading center only have a mostly of 2 to 3 Levels
or floors, it is even very difficult to find buildings that have artistic value
even in urban centers.
I am also motivated to introduce Indonesia to the world or other countries
that don't know Indonesia because there are many who don't know,
maybe some people know Bali (one of the international tourist attractions)
which is famous for its history, sea views, and beautiful villas, but mostly
they don't know that Bali is only one of the provinces in Indonesia. This is
not just my opinion but also proven after doing research through the
media.
From architectural research for Indonesian tourism, I also have an opinion
that makes me interested in the world of architectural arts, Indonesia has
17.499 islands (the first country with the most islands in the world), but
only a few islands are used as tourist attractions such as Bali which is the
most famous in Indonesia. In fact, there have thousands of beautiful
islands unknown to the world. I plan to use the islands here as tourist
attractions with architectural buildings filled with artistic values that can
steal the world's attention. In this way Indonesia will be better known to
the world, the public will have confidence in its environment, even the
state treasury in the tourism sector will increase.

Future plan:
building an architectural firm is my future goal, of course I have to work
with investors. I will take advantage of what has not been utilized such as
islands, even labor. The number of unemployed in Indonesia is more than
9 million people in the November 2020 data collection, even
undergraduates who cannot find work because of the minimal
employment opportunities in the country. I hope that the company that I
can build for the welfare of this country can accommodate them based on
skill selection, not which graduates they are. if my plan does not
materialize I plan to be in an architectural firm to gain my experience and
quality for the future of this project but if not I want to continue my

Masters education. Wherever I am in the future I want to provide the best
work and ideas for the welfare of all people and country.
my presence in architectural education to solve these building problems
and develop architectural building projects for the country use available
resources, in other words, to make use of what has not been used
properly, with creative ideas to help community and the country.
