Art and Life

People normally believe that art is just drawings and colourings. Presently , people realized that
art carries something deeper. Art is a form of expression. Art is anything that “speaks” to people,
that makes them feel and think, that churns their emotions, which inspires them. Individuals
discover arts in numerous things, be it within the shape of parks, buildings, cars or fashions.
For a few individuals, they have continuously been taught that expressions and sciences are in
a general sense different. Arts are unique while science is objective. Though that may be true,
science and art combine in many areas. One of the most noteworthy painters in history,
Leonardo da Vinci the painter of the Mona Lisa, was also famous for his developments and
logical drawings and do not forget the Vitruvian Man.
Recently, Tun Mahathir stated for the nation to become an industrialized state, emphasis needs
to be placed in the study of mathematics and sciences. He also stated that science graduates
are more employable than students of the arts. Based on Muhamad Hafiz Hassan 2019
perspective, he studied art and design because he wanted Malaysia to be like other developed
countries. “We take pride in using imported products and cars, but we never strive to be as the
same level as them. Our country is lacking valuable designers and artists which makes our
country's products are not as proud as foreign products,” he said.
Hafiz has proven to the society that by taking the art and design course, he can still be
successful. He received his master and vice chancellor’s award in UiTM Shah Alam. He
became
an educator in a boarding school because he wants to prove to the young people that arts is the
subject that ensures a better future.

The study of basic arts and sciences should be made available to all at school. The study of
sciences should be balanced with the appreciation and understanding of the arts to give
students a more universal education. Art Education aims to provide students with an
opportunity to develop interest, develop personalities, raise awareness and sensitivity to
environmental and cultural values as well as to other subjects.
The factors influencing student difficulties in learning art are the class environment which lacks
with the facilities and condition of the art studio itself. Besides, unsupportive family members.
Many parents view science and math subjects as subjects that can guarantee their children's
future. Government policy is also a factor that affect student become less interested in art
Education.
Arts can play a crucial role in improving students’ ability to learn. Schools or universities can
also
play a role in having a week or a month of art appreciation. Moreover, the government should
promote more employment opportunities in the arts. So, it will constantly change the mindset
of societies in positive ways as it can guarantee their future.
In conclusion, our ability to achieve high academic grades or the type of department in which
we study should not correlate to a ranking of how useful of our skills because all talents are
important. Arts and sciences are better together. It can improve students’ employment
prospects and fostering new skills in “the space between” speciality areas.
