MOTIVATION LETTER

My name is Yovanka Efni Dwirani. I studied at Padang State University majoring in

Art and Design and I am now in the 6th semester of a S1 diploma program. I’m 21 years old, I
was born in Perawang-Riau, 17 June 1999.
After my graduate, I hope to have a photo and design studio that my have dreamed of
for a long time. Armed with the background in art and design education so far, I have an artistic
soul that can be proud of, it can be proven when I sit in a vocational high school, I receive the
opportunity to take part in art, design, photography, and smart competitions with my
achievements have, hope champion 1 national level creative contest held in Malang, East Java,
1st place provincial level design competition, 3rd place provincial level quiz competition, 1st
place calligraphy at city level, and also photography competitions which are held annually in
the city.
My motivation to join the Indonesia Arts and Culture Scholarship program organized
by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is because I want to be an independent person, character,
useful for others, and also get to know more about the arts and culture in Indonesia while
increasing my insight and importance in preserving our own culture. which I can later pour
through art of design and photography. In addition, because I’m among those who like to learn
art and try new things.
If later I’m chosen to be one of the recipients to participate in the IASC program, I will
dedicate myself and give my best to the IASC by actively participating in all activities carried
out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In my future planning, if I have accepted the IASC program, I will make the most of
the opportunity. I’m a hard-working person, can collaborate with the team in problem solving
in the world of arts and culture, and have innovation in increasing the value of the future arts
and culture in Indonesia. I will also introduce culture from where my live, Riau Malay culture
to outsiders, and of course with the IASC program, I hope that through the knowledge my get,
that will help me to apply it in the community and be realized together in the future and be able
to work with kontigen-kontigen from other countries and strengthen global friendship.
This this motivation letter was made, in order to fulfill the requirements of the Indonesia
Art and Culture Scholarship Program by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and hopefully I can
join as one of the recipients, Amin.
