Introduction
This installation guide provides you with the information you require to
nd
install the 2 harddisk module onto the Beetle /Fusion system.
Please read the following notes carefully before doing any work on
the device.
Installation notes
When installing the device and/or doing any work on it, make sure
that it is disconnected from the power.
Take care for ESD protection when you are in contact with electronic
parts such as harddisk etc.

This chapter describes the steps to be taken to install the 2 harddisk kit
onto the system.
Contents in kit
The following items are available in the upgrade kit:
· 1 qty of harddisk
· 4 qty of standoff
Tools required
· Nutdriver 5x5
· Ensure that the 2 guide rails are going to be snapped onto the
harddisk in the orientation shown in the picture below.
· Snap the harddisk to its 2 guide rail and leave it aside for use later
on (see picture below).

· Lift B/Fusion panel PC unit to dislodge it from its desktop and place
it with its screen facing downward and make sure it is protected
from scratches.
Slide the cable cover in the directions indicated in the picture below
(1) & (2) and remove all cables that are attached to the panel PC unit
and routed through the desktop stand in order to detach panel PC
from the desktop stand (see picture below).
Note: Take note of the connections of the cables before removing them so
that they could be re-installed correctly later on.
· Remove the cover of the desktop stand with the instruction given in
the picture below.
· Remove the two screws to enable the cover to be removed, pull the
cover in the direction shown as the arrow in the picture below.

Tighten screws
· Slot the harddisk together with its 2 plastic guides into the harddisk
mounting bracket until it reaches a stop, take note of its orientation
(see picture below).
· Connect the data cable and power cable to the hardisk (see picture
below). Route the cables according to the pictures shown below to
ensure the functionality of the system is not compromised.

· Re-install all the cables back to their respective ports, close the
cable cover onto B/Fusion (see picture below).
· Route the cables as shown in the picture below, the cables routing
must be followed closely to ensure the functionality of the system is
not compromised.
· Slide the panel mount back cover downwards until it is lodged onto
the stand securely (see picture below).
· Tilt the panel PC backward all the way (See picture below).

· Re-assemble the stand column back cover onto the system and tilt
the panel PC module back to its desired position (See picture
below).
