OUR MISSION

MISSION 1
Mental disorders are on the rise around the world; however, the unfortunate lack of knowledge
and awareness on mental health is owed to it still being very much a taboo subject in many
cultures around the world.
Many people struggling with mental illness around the world are sometimes scorned by society
and accused of being victims of witchcraft or evil spirits. Sometimes, society blames the patients
themselves for their condition.  In those societies, those who display such signs of mental illness
are likely to encounter judgement, fear or even hatred, or fear. In some cultures, common
responses to aggressive, uncontrolled behavior or even severe depression are still electroshocks,
beatings or locking up.
Our mission at Askness is to continue to raise awareness and educate on mental health around
the world. We fundraise and donate a percentage of our profits towards mental health charities
and organizations around the world.
MISSION 2
Another mission that we are extremely passionate about at Askness is Female Empowerment.
Empowering women should be the fundamental right of women no matter where in the world
they live. They should have equal rights to participate in education, society, economics and
politics. They should be allowed to have higher education and achieve success in their career
without gender based prejudice. As far as society has come in recognizing the importance of
equal rights to women, there is still a long way to go in making this a right for women around the
world. 
At Askness we also focus on female empowerment. We are on a mission to provide affordable
education, opportunities, career development, and create female entrepreneurs internationally.
Askness supports female empowerment by providing worldwide opportunities to women in poor
communities. We use a percentage of profits made to provide affordable education and resources
for women and girls around the world. Through our course consultant’s opportunities, we open
the door to create career growth for women. We provide free advice, support and training, as
well as host webinars on leadership and management for women.  We don’t just preach Female
Empowerment; we take steps to act on it. Donations made towards our Female Empowerment
Course, goes directly into providing more opportunities, free training, education and resources
needed to continue to support and empower women in poor communities worldwide.

COMPANY BACKGROUND
Formerly known as Askness Blog, Askness started out as a nonprofit mental health and well-
being blog in 2018, instantly gaining popularity and international recognition from a growing
social media following. The blog focused on raising awareness about mental health, fundraising
to support mental health charities, and providing a safe virtual hub for those seeking support and
someone to listen to without judgement or pressure. 
With the growing demand of its readers and followers seeking more professional support to
overcome life challenges, achieve their goals, support and those seeking change, Askness
decided to branch out into coaching. Using the professional tools acquired from years of
experience, the blog was redesigned and refocused towards this demand.
While the sole purpose of the blog to raise awareness and provide mental health support still has
not been changed, the mission has now become to focus on all aspects to bring about health
changes for clients worldwide.
Askness is now proud to offer coaching services from our highly trained, experienced and
qualified Life Coaches. Though these services are fairly new, the name Askness is already well
known for both its high professional standards and its origins as a nonprofit business supporting
positive changes.
Askness still stays true to its charitable origins and worldwide focus, by providing opportunities
international to support both its causes in Mental Health and Women Empowerment. Askness
aims to provide affordable and easy access to training and development to women entrepreneurs
worldwide. Through our international Career coaching and consultancy services, we aim to
provide employment opportunities for women around the world. We are focused on team
