1. Flying Plastic Bag

How it works?
Rub the surface of the rod with the cloth for 40 seconds. Flatten the plastic bag and
rub the cloth against its surface for 40 seconds. Release the plastic bag and watch it
levitate as you wave the rod below.

2. Roll a Can with Static Electricity

How it works?
When you rub the plastic rod on a piece of cloth, more and more electrons
(negative charge) build up on the plastic rod (the plastic rod gets electrons from your
cloth). The plastic rod was then filled with static electricity. When you held the
negatively charged plastic rod close to the soda can, it attracted the positively
charged protons in the aluminum.

5. Water bending with the Power of Static Electricity

How it works?
Electrons from your clothes collect on the plastic rod when you rub it into
your clothes. These electrons have a negative charge attached to them.
Positive charges are attracted to the plastic rod since it now has a negative
charge. When you bring the negatively charged plastic rod close to the faucet,
the positive forces of the water attract it. As the water flows, the attraction is
strong enough to pull it towards the plastic rod. Because of the static electric
attraction between the negative and positive poles, gravity will take control
and drag the water straight down when you remove the charged plastic rod
from the stream.
